rather him than pirlo in our mid..and thats no disrespect to pirlo but my personal preference is this guy...midfield is ticking and marchisio really seems to be enjoying the role and i particularly love seeing that maturity in a player as opposed to the ones that bitch and moan about not being played in their fav position...

I love Pirlo to death but i would be afraid to play him and watch our fluidity go away. Not to mention he can a liability to our defense at times while Marchisio can sit deep and allow our CMs to have more freedom/offensive approach.

Hats off for this guy, he has been absoloutly amazing this season. He is involved, he takes the initiative, always trying to find space for himself and other and is trying to contribute in attack. He give us alot more defensive stability, he is fast and can track back when we lose the ball and even make some very important tackles and interceptions. Hell he even made more tackles (4) than vidal (3) last game ! I remember him making 2-2.5 tackles in average in the last seasons, while vidal made usually about 4-4.5, I think this will change this season if he continues with this form !

I can't see Pirlo benching Marchisio as things stand tbh. Knowing Pirlo he won't accept the bench for too long so with the season coming to an end he could go elsewhere. Unfortunately, but Marchisio is a top class performer lately.
