Bender, I could agree. But IMO he's already light years ahead of Marchisio.
As for Flamini I again see him as a pure DM. Not just that, but a horrible DM.
Not all teams have such players. It's incredible how much people overrate Marchisio and his contribution. Majority being biased as he's the 'real Juventino'.
Light years ahead? But can't find his way ahead of Khedira in the German NT, which is arguably at the same level to the Italian? Quite a superlative to use.
Flamini, horrible? In Milan perhaps. Apparently, he's done excellently since he came to Arsenal. He's exactly what they needed, their fans say. Did he suddenly turn into a different player, or was it the change of tactics and colleagues that did it?
I'm going to help you draw a conclusion: Marchisio is a very good player. Not world class, not the creative spark we need in this team right now nor the physical beast that Vidal is. Therefore, he's played out of position in order to help neutralize one of the best players in the world.
Does that make him a scapegoat for last night?
