what would you guys think of experimenting with marchisio as a RWB?

he's defensively aware. rarely gets caught out of position.
likes to make runs behind defenses. A needed traight in a WB
good passer. knows when to play intelligent balls in. decent crosser as well
can take his man head on....actually he is skilled enouigh to take two or three even

serious question. I mean if asamoah can make the transition, i would think someone who is more capable offenviely could make it work as well
He can beat a man, all he would need to do is learn the positioning and he wouldent do that bad

Yea....no. Waste of his talent. We are wasting one potentially great CM as a LWB I don't want to waste another for a position that is part of a formation that sets us back in Europe.

Or just simply buy the right fucking players in the first place to play our formation. I'm sick of hearing of players shifting in different positions let alone actually seeing it.

Can't recall ever seeing him cross but I'd try it.
The only one that leads to a goal which I can remember:
but you're right, he rarely delivers cross.

He actually already played as RB/RWB at least once, under Del Neri in that Parma match where Melo got sent off IIRC (though he played there late into the game, probably replacing Sorensen).

Thought that he was very good in the first half. His pressing was superb and seemed like the only player in the middle 5 willing to close.
He kind of drifted out in the second.
Overall looking as games last 90 minutes:D he was decent, good in possession, some duels won but didn't offer much upfront. As b2b mid he should be more noticeable.

Agreed, though I think he was one of the better players in the second too.

Ghosted :D Keep on playing Marchisio, almost always solid, keeps posession, doesn't loose the ball and spreads the play well. Keep it up

He's literally contributing nothing to our team going forward. How long are we going to have to stomach his invisible performances?

Marchisio was are best midfielder as far as retaining possession. One thing I love that he does is he always switches the side of play and his passing was perfect.
