Should have been sent off though. Both his fouls were stupid.
His yellow card certainly wasn't for a stupid tackle. He - entirely correctly - made the foul to stop a potentially dangerous Torino attack when Juve were caught out of shape.

The sliding challenge in the corner was foolish, but not worth a booking.

Marchisio slide alongside the player to block the clearance and the Torino player decided to try and fall into him to make it look like a bad tackle to try and get the second booking.

Fuck any one of you who thinks that Marchisio should have been sent off......These two can easily be considered as attempts for murder, especially the challenge on Tevez. This is exactly how my ankle cracked and i ended up with a cast for a month....Immobile and that other focker should gen a ban for at least 3 games each. If Balo could get 3 games ban for a "simple" bad-mouthing a referee than these two deserve much more.

I think assault/battery and murder attempts are different things.

I want to see him as a left winger instead of K.Asamoah in some big games.. if Chiellini needs cover, marchisio will definitely help out and will most probably offer more in attack than K.asa.

what would you guys think of experimenting with marchisio as a RWB?

he's defensively aware. rarely gets caught out of position.
likes to make runs behind defenses. A needed traight in a WB
good passer. knows when to play intelligent balls in. decent crosser as well
can take his man head on....actually he is skilled enouigh to take two or three even

serious question. I mean if asamoah can make the transition, i would think someone who is more capable offenviely could make it work as well
