Marchisio archives Parma triumph
Claudio Marchisio has urged his Juventus side to build on their impressive start to the season following the win over Parma.
The Old Lady began the campaign at their new arena in scintillating fashion as Marchisio netted a beauty in the 4-1 success.
“We must now remain focused on the next fixtures, knowing that this must be our course,” the Italian international noted.
“Even in the other seasons we were quite strong, but we suffered from some problems, especially concerning our mentality, but new Coach Antonio Conte has arrived to help us with this aspect.
“This victory should be a signal for ourselves, not just for our rivals, in order to get much more inner strength. We’re perfectly aware of our potential.
“It has been a perfect Sunday. We've achieved a great win. In addition to our four goals, we've played good football, being determined and never giving up.”
The game did end slightly disappointingly though as Paolo De Ceglie was sent-off after giving away a penalty which Sebastian Giovinco slotted home.
The Bianconeri are next in action at Siena before League games against Bologna and Catania.
