He seemed to have fit that role pretty well and seemed to be good option for a three man midfield. Bashing is OK, but blaiming everything on Amauri is ridiculous. I'd rather bash the ones who think Marchisio adds a lot to our team, rather than bashing Marchisio.

People don't blame everything on Amauri, he doesn't get bashed for our poor defence does he? What he does get bashed for is what he doesn't do properly, his job. There was at least 10 crosses today where any striker would have at least had an attempt on goal. He gets berated for it and rightfully so as he's laughable.
Still compared to Amauri, Marchisio adds a hell of a lot more, for example goals.
Therefore I still don't know what your point is.

What other choice do we have? Quag is out and Toni is God knows where. Why can't get rid of him in January, and I'd rather play him than Giannetti.
