which i don't think anyone said otherwise. but doing well or being solid are totally different than being a leader or being great.
the greatest quality of a leader is to lead by example, and deliver performance on the field.

and Marchi is not found wanting in that department.

i am not sure, but when I look at him and the way he acts ,just doesnt resemble a leader, maybe with years he will show that he can be, but Chellini is more of capitano type , I loved Montero,he was a leader type, Mirkovic once in interview said ,that he was a true leader ,beside Zidane and Del Piero wearing an armband, when Montero spoke everyone was quiet

Chellini doe it better. he leads by example in defense by being a world class defender, being a inspirational players, and even contributing to scoring goals.

players tremble at the thouight of having to face chiellini. same can't be said about marchisio

Chiellini would die on the field if he had to. That's my captain. Marchisio is just 'alright' in my books. He's solid but could be benched at any time. Chiellini is irreplaceable.

they're different, but valuable in their own right.

both are regularly the best players on the pitch, and that's what counts the most.

couldn't pick one specific match, he is always one of the best performers.

just because Chiellini makes the highlight reel tackles and bleeds doesn't mean he was the only player doing well.

So let me get this straight, because he isn't a leader, he's a pussy?

I'm sure Marchisio would "die" on the field. He's one of the hardest working guys out there.

And he might look like a skinny pretty boy but that kid is one of the toughest soldiers we got. No way I'd consider him a pussy. I love the guy and that's why I think we should go with a 4-3-3 next season.

You don't have to be a big, hard, central defender to be a leader, btw. Del Piero is a bit of a 'pussy' if we are going to say that about Marchisio.

Don't hate on the pretty boy.
