Trez would never get it, he's not devoted enough to Juve and he constantly talks about leaving. Btw he never seemed like much of a leader on the field, Chiellini on the other hand is an excellent candidate. He's a fan favorite, an excellent player who is an important part of our starting lineup, he does not look likely to leave Juve for at least quite some time, he plays his heart out on the field and he puts much more effort into Juve's games than trezeguet.

i believe chiellini is a leader already, and i must say he has calmed down quite a lot and matured and will continue to do so.

Yeah, that was last season. But this time around they started giving it to Chiellini (pre season), so there is no doubt that he will be our next captain after buffon. Marchisio vice captain.:scarf:
