i was thinking the same thing, when you play with 3 man in the midfield you need them to have some offensive contribution, and it was the case today with marchisio and camoranesi
i think we still need them to shoot more from outside the box
I have to laugh at your username in here, because the moronic TV announcers on Fox Soccer Channel here pronounce Marchisio "Mar-CHEESE-ee-oo".

Trezeguet. should of score with his head, but instead opt to use his foot. He tried to be the showstopper by trying to score with an incredible volley, but he failed, that should of been an easy goal if he use his head. I just got so mad. should of been a goal. those kind of miss chances could cost us in the future.

I love this kid. He is class. He works his ass off all over the pitch.

You know why I like him? I will tell you. He is simple. Plays the simple ball, makes smart runs into space and still plays the simple ball. Occasionally he goes deep but other than that he just plays smart IMO. He is still learning, granted but you gotta give him credit for just dishing out the ball to someone nearby who is better at creating. He knows who to give it too and the best part about it is that its usually when he breaks up some play after tracking 40-50 yards back to regain possession. I love that about him. He earned that goal today and it was class.

What a great guy, he was already doing well under ranieri but ciro really rates claudio and this great amount of trust and the players great personality bode excellently, not to mention his great technique I mean making that run and shooting in that accuarcy and class after playing so many games recently is a really hard thing to do. Bravo Marchisio:tup:

edit: I hope he regains his energy for Thursday because I'd like to see him feature as IMO he's been one of the protaganists for the season so far.

My dutch commentator made a pretty good comparison yesterday. He compared Marchisio to Conte; a runner with some brilliant inspiration now and then.
Fabio Caressa (the Sky Sport commentator) said yesterday that the more he watches him the more he reminds him of Tardelli. I was too young when Tardelli was playing so i don't remember him, but many who saw Tardelli say how Marchisio is a copy of him.

I think his technique sets him apart from your average Italian midfielder, you can see that he used to play a lot higher up the pitch when he was younger.
