I dunno, i am little worried about Marchisio.
I believe that Cirro respects Camo and places him higher than him in the pecking order. Sissoko will automatically start due to his dedicated role.
I Believe Ferrara will give equal chance to Marchisio and Poulsen, even Tiago too.
But, if we buy a new expensive CM (Melo/CM, Dago/CAM)
His price and exp will automatically surclass him.
That would make him 2-3rd choice CM.

I really dont know what to hope from there, as if i wish him good, means that i wish bad to Camo and the new CM...

Marchisio triumphed over Tiago and Poulsen. But that was not a real benefit for Juve. Will he triumph against Camo and Dago? Should he triumph over Camo and Melo?

What do you guys think about it? I know that we will need depth, but the starter places are starter places...

I confess I share the same concerns as you Cron...Melo is the same kind of player as Marchi, only with a better international profile...let's hope Ciro believes in Claudio and makes him a sure starter

He won't be in competition for a position with Diego and we won't be signing D'Ago. I think Marchi will do just fine this season.

Mmmm, not exactly. I'd say Melo is more like an Emerson-type of player who can play well in all aspects of the game, including passing the ball, who can sit in the middle of the pitch. Marchisio is more of an industrious midfielder who can drive forward, but can't direct play like Melo can.

But lets not worry about this. Even if one thinks they're similar players, Melo is the better one right now. Yet this doesn't mean Marchisio won't play at all because he can fit in on either side of Melo in a diamond midfield. If he has to be the first one off the bench for Camo, Sissoko or Melo, that means he will see a lot of time. If we got someone such as Hamsik, Marchisio would get even less time because they're similar players.

And most importantly, we shouldn't be focusing on playing the same XI all the time. We should be open to switching formations and trying other players if things don't work, or tailor the team to the opposition we are facing.

People get too bogged down and concerned with having a set XI and formation that it becomes detrimental to the team.

Melo is the fastest and more technical player than Emerson, more powerfull going forward and a bit less dominant in defense. I don't hold concerns bout Marchisio's time. Some of them will get injured at the time. 4 of them will have equal time in trio-based midfield for sure.

I thing Camo can adopt on a regista role well. He has the skill, the range of passing and everything. Only player I was wrong about in my whole career of watching Juventus.....
I also believe we have many players able to play that regista role, than we think.
(Camo for one, Tiago on theory and i suspect even more)
I believe that we will have too such players, behind Diego and besides Sissoko able to pass and distribute dynamically.

Since you b-day you have grown mature enough to understand me and we keep agree on everything lately, (boring) lets talk about Moli or smth:p

Not Diego, Dago = D'agostino. I still believe that it is a higher possibility to Melo.
No matter what the media say. But if we both fail them, we will end up with smth like Ledesma... The point remains though, if spend money to buy hi, we will have to use him. I dont believe than even he will come as Marchisio's sub either...

Here's a greatest example on why we totally disagree.

I see all this in the benefit of Marchisio because it raises healthy competition. And as Andy said, one formation and starting line-up is never the answer, rotation is the key to a winning season and when you have up-to-par players filling the positions you would not hesitate a second in rotating. So, no, there's no worry about Marchisio's position no matter who (IN YOUR OPINION) Ferrara rates more; because as far as everyone else is concerned, Ferrara hasn't released an ordered list of his preferred players.
