Terrible match tonight, and Lahm got the best of him. I'm surprised a player of Marchisio's calibre got owned by the same trick by Lahm over and over and wasn't able to adjust properly.

Well Marchisio didn't win a lot of duels in the midfield, did he? I recall exactly one, after which Matri was fouled. Successfuly tracking Lahm is hardly an achievement to be proud of, if you can't cause him any trouble whatsoever offensively.
