It's not often that someone other than Cronios gets to wave the "I told you so" flag, so when that moment finally arrives, they should be allowed to make the most of it.

Of course I was holding onto it, along with a few others who believed in him while posters where putting up pics of ghosts, stealth fighters and photo shopping his body away to make him invisible. Needless to say, those people have canned it. The "I told you so" is for them, the senseless bashing that went straight to this thread all season last year instead of the other fantastic 10 underachievers that brought us 7th place 2 years running.

Marchisio was a lot of peoples scapegoat around here when there were MUCH worse performers in this team. Then came the bandwagon that people just can't stay away from on here.

Marchisio is a good player who's having a great season because he's playing in a position that best suits his abilities. Last season, he was terrible and his performance didn't justify his supposed talent.
With this season performance, one might argue that he's world class, not yet though. He needs to keep performing at this level for at least one season.
