Sharp, good tackles, great positioning, tracked back, distribution was good, and energetic.

He ain't no big boy, but the kid can hold his own. Starting CM spot may very well be his, if he keeps this up.

I think many have seen his talents including myself for some time. I personally didn't want to jinx him.

But he has slowly grown in stature, confidence and composure.

he was recognised by the UEFA CL panels though,he was chosen as one of those to be watched in the CL,of course when we weren't knocked out by chelsea..
but yeah,should be getting a call up to the Azzurri soon enough,especially with Aquilani not proving to be as effective,i know he has been injured,that could be another reason why he should be in the Azzurri..
a midfield of De rossi-Pirlo-Marchisio would be something..

It was his first time out with a very distinct boot color. Don't know about you but it seems to me he isn't afraid of scrutiny and won't try to hide on the field.
It shows confidence and has a little bit of the "watch me" factor.

Perhaps thats just me and my boot choices.
