Okay, but you're also forgot to mention that Roma sold him to clear some debt(don't know exactly what happen in between) . Although management is inept, I doubt they sell Marchi. More-so to our title challenging rivals

I stand by what i said, both of them are better and there is absolutely no reason to replace them.And i Gila may not be Great player but is better than our guys(excl Matri Quag and DP).

Then it makes absolutely no sense to buy him if he is already inferior to 3 of the current members of our strike force. As for someone like Aguero or Tevez, they are better than all our options in the attacking department at present.

Inler is better than Marchisio and potentially better than Melo (Melo would be world class if he was more focused, consistent, and less aggressive).

It's modern football, matches are plenty. Plus DP and Quag will play SS so it's Matri or Gila competing for one spot.Of course it depends on the formation that we will play, but if we are fielding 2 strikers every game it's better to have 4 good available.

Matri-->Gilardino at the moment anyways. Gila was very promising when he was at Parma and had lots of potential but he flopped at Milan and he is nothing more than a good Serie A striker now.
