thats what i said in the game thread, the stats really should not be brought up in his case, it would show his season to be even poorer than it was, so it's funny that his fans would continue to call it an assist

but it was a good pass, perfect timing and perfectly placed. besides, how many players would have passed the ball out to the wing in that situation or try a trought ball to Llo. Marchisio is keeping it simple and thats whats good about him

Actually, it would be nice if they start keeping track of that. Lots of time the pass to the assistman is vital. Like Pogba's through pass tonight for Licht. Or Ronaldo last week for Coentrao.
