He directly replaces any one of Vidal, Pirlo & Pogba. He'll obviously continue to get a lot of game time.
Good for him. Im fine with him being cool with being a super sub for the rest of his career. My only concern is he will eventually start complaining and it will be very difficult for us to be able to sell him.

Pogba will demand a move soon enough and Claudio will right back in our dream team :)
At least you realize he is not a starter anymore. :)
Uh, do I know you?

Marchisio should be sold imho for more than 15m. Any offer less than 20M Euros should be immediately rejected. He might not be a starter, but he is homegrown, loves the team and gives us real options in midfield (unlike Isla or Padoin playing there).

25M - we start thinking
30M+ = SELL! Panic sale!

No, but we have seen that he can deputise as holding midfielder really well to fill in for Pirlo, something that will happen more frequently the next few years.
Pirlo is getting a new contract with a pretty big salery. Now, I don't say this because of Marchisio, but I really don't think Pirlo will play any less.

He plays a whole lot less nowadays. This season at least.
He was injured for quite some time, and has since played every other game. Of course it is less, but he's still an important member of the sqaud, and it is vital to have backup players of a high level as well.

I don't mind him being on the bench really. But if it's possible to get some money from him and buy a winger I'd do it easily because Asamoah can cover him easily.

Please don't talk common sense with that guy.
You're the one to talk.

Like someone said, he covers any place in our mid when needed. We dont have reserves anyways and he is flexible in his role. Obvoiusly selling him would be a disaster as long as we do not have reserves.
