One thing that these headless haters don't seem to understand is that when you are playing 3-5-2, you just don't go with only four central midfielders. If we are to acquire an LCM, we can fund it with selling a couple of our strikers whose number has now largely exceeded the available spots. Why would we even think of selling a part of our main strength in the past two seasons? It's foolish to think that the functionality of our midfield had all to do with Vidal (and Pirlo). Marchisio has been an important part of our success, even his stats suggest so.

I don't mind if he sits on our bench, as long as we get a quality lwb.

Asamoah doesn't even play CM for his national team anymore and here is bang in the middle for Juve :howler:
So? Who cares where he plays for Ghana? Vidal played as a left back for Chile. It doesn't mean we should play him there.

if even for his NT he doesn't play his natural/best position then what does that tell you?
