That is not the reason for my objection. You compared his stats with Giacch who only comes in when we are in full attack and has minimum defensive responsibilities, furthermore he has the advantage of fresh legs.

Why is it so hard for people to accept that we will go back to 3-5-2 and Pogba will start on the bench most games? He's still growing as a player. And face it twirps, he ain't staying here forever.

Y'all mad? Deal with it.
Thank you!

We changed to a 3-5-1-1 due to our incompetent strikers.

We'll switch back to a 3-5-2 with the arrival of Llorente and hopefully another acquisition.

We'll continue on with our MVP midfielder. Pogba is still very young, and is still maturing and developing.

And also its fucking Giaccherini...

But agreed Claudio shouldnt moan in the media, but I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it without knowing context or having it verified, dry spell in media in summer and they like to play up angles, everything was fine until Marrotta made a comment about his future is up to him or such, prolly made Cheesio bit unsettled (away in NT camp in another continent adds to it too prolly), plus who knows what is said behind closed doors, but essentially its non issue, he will stay for sure, and no one has a 100% assured spot, they all have to spot to lose if someone else performs better.

are you serious?? it's fucking giaccherini, it doesnt matter if those numbers were against primavera, he shouldnt even be close. Also the Alen argumetn you are using only applies to forwards, it takes a while for mids to get into games.

I can see where you're coming from there. It's not like he has played almost exclusively at LCM for club and country over the last two seasons.

We all know he's played there the most, but it seems that whenever the coach wants to change things up with formations, Marchisio is the first one to be pushed out of the CM position, meaning, the coach thinks he's good there, but not good enough to always be there.

This showed at the end of last season when it became apparent that Pogba is a beast at CM, Conte's first reaction was to push Marchisio out of his natural preferred position.

The same problem he's facing with NT at the moment. Whenever some new good player emerges, Marchisio is the one pushed aside.

what would really be good to know in your case is how to read
What, that you're limiting this to only Serie A?

Marchisio (past 2 Serie A seasons): 15 goals, 5 assists
Hernanes (past 2 Serie A seasons): 19 goals, 6 assists
Giaccherini (past 2 Serie A seasons): 4 goals, 5 assists

Do you see how much more superior Marchisio is than Giaccherini?

Last year. Who knows this year.
Right. But shouldn't last year set some sort of precedent as to who should start the coming one? We saw Marchisio get moved out of position because of Pogba anyways. If we get another good striker, I think he'll be hitting the bench a lot more this year. Him and Pirlo probably. I see Pogba playing a much bigger role.

You can't live on one good season entire career.
De Rossi has been pulling that off quite nicely.
