did uefa ever reverse a red card decision in CL?
Not sure, but it is a very hard thing to achieve. Because what will be at the centre of their decision, is whether or not the referee and his assistants could be said to have made a downright mistake when evaluating the situation. Yes, the red card was extremely harsh, but since there was an attempt by Ronaldo to pull that bastard's greasy hair, you can bet your ass that UEFA will deem the ref team's decision to have been within reason and they will change nothing. In fact, depending on how they'll view the images themselves and the official report which will be delivered to them by said ref-team (in which they will explain their reasons for the sending off), I wouldn't be surprised if they find that it was an attempt at "assault" or some form of violent conduct - which will mean that Ronaldo could miss up to 3 games.

Sky Sport Italia analysed the footage and with lip-reading found that Fritz told Brych there was a tug of the hair, so the referee twice asked if it was a red card offence and twice Fritz replied in the affirmative.
This could prove decisive with regards to the extent of the ban, because the referee cannot write in his report that he saw violent conduct, only that it was passed on to him.
There is no VAR in the Champions League and Ronaldo will receive an automatic one-match ban with no right of appeal, but it could be worse.

What a game.

Cancelo, Woj, Giorgio, Bonucci and Berna were :delpiero:

Too bad for CR7. That was never a red. I feel sorry for Valencia when they come in Turin. What a rape it will be...

It was a good call on your part not to make a prediction. Saved yourself from looking like a total fool this time.

UEFA decides based on what they want to do.

Remember when Ramos wasn't suspended for being "pitch level" against us because the Bernabeu dugout is below the pitch

for the first time in a while we didn't look shaky in our first CL game(or many CL games...) , and that with 10 man down. So well done Juve.

Stupid referee.

I really hope it's just one match for CR7, don't want to lose him for the two matches vs United.

The only negative thing for me is I am worried about our defense vs set pieces i.e. Bonucci, I find the opposition can quite easily be left unmarked/head the ball a few games now
