Everything about this goal is hilarious.
I remember an Emerson interview where he said that he only noticed the opportunity and scored because Cannavaro started shouting at him. :D But the frustration building up to that goal was incredible, I still shiver when thinking about that game.

Mario out, Gonzalo in.

oh wow, Mandžukič not even on the bench sucks. this reminds me of last seasons CL knockouts when our standard subs would be Barza, Rincon and Lemina or something like that.

I could wish that we kept Pjaca or Kean instead of loaning them out, but I know better than wishing an injury on a player :(

Fuck yes, I was honestly about to give up on this game if we would have only Mandzu as CF and no Gonzalo (if we had to pick which one of them is healthy enough to play, this was the best choice), we wont get much chances and he is by far the best opportunistic scorer we have.

Talk about choker this or that as much as some like, but numbers speak for themselves, he is our best scorer, while Mandzu barely tries to score most of the time, it would hinge too much on costa and dybala to do everything.

Higuain won't be in shape though

Didn't their goalkeeper have the game of his life until he made that mistake if I remember correctly?

And no attackers on the bench. Fucked once again by having no subs if this goes over 120 minutes.

I wonder if Max thinks about a 352 with Higgy and Dybala starting, just for the sake of having a impact sub on the bench in Costa.

If Higuain starts, Sandro will be on the bench. Either ways, we'll have to try and win this in the first 60 mins. It'll get a whole lot more difficult as our players tire and we bring our scrubs from bench.
