I really cannot see how we will score two goals against Madrid. The only chance for us to progress is to get an early goal and then somehow shut down Real and take the game into penalties.

The defensive 4-4-2 will see us lose, we have absolutely no chance of going through with that kind of mentality. If we want to have any chance of going through we have to go all out attack and make them defend for 90 minutes.

Real are good at attacking. They are bad at defending.

By sitting back and waiting we are allowing them to do what they are good at rather than attacking their weaknasses.

That's exactly what I have been saying since December when we first learned about the draw. Sitting back against Real is like fooling around with a Nuclear reactor.

andy i think a miracle is appropriate or simply luck can get us true .. say both zlatans shots werent saved today and real missed all their chances .. something like this can get us through.. real plauyed very well today

Thing is DP played badly and he knows it as when he lost the ball for the 106th time he ran after Zidane and fouled him from behind and got a sanction (that was the only time during the match I saw him run).

Like Zlatan said, DP never shows passion or fighting spirit. Blasi might have played badly, but at least he did show passion, fighting spirit and never give up attitude. If only DP could take a leaf out of his book!

I agree. Blasi does more for the team than Del Piero, that's for sure.

we cant compete real on creativity and attack, if we attack too much they will counter attack as they did at the beginning,
they are too fast for us,
juve s only avdantage is defence,
we can be very solid,
we created nothing today and they manage to score only once with a hard-curling header!!!
we sould take control of the game in the center we sould play man to man on zidane and figo, so they wont be able to create nothing and would only based on wings,
so do we,
r.carlos doent cross as he used to do and zambro can easily control beckham

I wish if i could agree with you.but this is Juventus FC.I don't remember the last time we played atacking football.and trying it for the first time against real madrid is a risk for me.

I say we are good at deffending and bad at atacking.so let us control their atack and score on counteratack since you said they are bad at defending. trust me we had scored a lot on counteratack

We cant contain their attack by defending, and we're hopeless on the countre attack. It's true, we simply do not know how to counterattack, all our counters are way too slow and are usually cut out. I cannot remember when we scored from the counter last time.

If we do not attack, we will not score. We cannot sit back because Real will control the match and have the ball up our asses for the whole match, just like today. What happened today? We lost 1-0 because we sat back against Real and let them control the match. How can you think that if we use this same mentality we will progress? That is just idiotic. We must attack Real and force them to defend like we did in 2003. DO NOT SIT BACK.

with udine DP to camo and goal
anyways i dont think it will work,
we have to create many chances,
we havent got quality strikers who can score with 1/2 chance,

I have not enjoy the match we had enough things to be disapointed at this game... and it is now even more a nd more hard to advance, I'm not optimistic as I'm pretty sure Real will score at least once in Torino...

Buffon 6.5: Manage to do some good saves and know one in earth could ask him about the goal...

Zebina 6: Not that good I think as most of the pressure comes from his side, but at least he was trying to be effective...

Canna 6.5: solid as always never easy to get path him...

Thuram 7: Our hero for sure, he can prove ya he is one of the best CB in the last decade even at the age of 32...

Zambro 6: he tried to do somthing upfront, but I wasnt impressed by him so much definsivley....

Camo 6: I was expecting more from him he didnt involved as he should do in buliding our attack

Blasi 5.5: He was running like he was lookin for a lost red card, thanks god Reffere didnt give him one...

Emerson 7: One of our few good players in the field, nothing can affect the performance of Puma....

Oliviera 5.5: asking him to replace Neddy against Real in Madrid is a very huge job to a player of his ability....

DP 5: No commnet, Invisible....

Zlatan 6.5: Somone would say he should score from the chances he gets... but i think that overall he did a good job, and he was our only creative player at this night....

Capello 5.5: surely there was somthing better than the tactic he played with... if Real was lucky tonight we could have a disaster....

Yeah I said that, because the only way we are going to shut down Real is if we attack them and disrupt their flow. If we sit back we will not score and Real will probably get a goal anyway.
