ADP Timers

Ya, true. DP disappeared, but I think only because he felt frustrated. There is clearly an issue of DP/Ibra working well together. They dont seem to have the chemistry of either striker pairs out there, say a Ronaldo/Raul, etc.

After Nedved was pulled, I think Ibra saw it as his chance to become the superstar for Juve, especially with the legend Zizou on the pitch watching his every move, and he tried to simply imitate.

For imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Zalayeta for DP was a good sub in the 80th, and I strongly support Capello in making it and would have done the same. All I am saying is that, as much as DP was not visible or "sucked" in the 2nd half, his performances cant be overshadowed by Ibra, since he was equally if not slightly less OFF for the night.

Even on the goal line, when he was trying to shield off Roberto Carlos, and he just ripped through him, and stripped him of the ball. What is that???? All he does is use his brute strength to shield off defenders, but not much else happens.

Sure he could have scored, on that one shot drilled right at Casillas, and if he did, he would have been a hero, but I am just once again saying, his antics in the last 5 min, the outrageous passes, upset me greatly. Maybe Im just too upset by that one incident, but its the truth, without Nedved, the attack is useless. Camo was all I saw tonight.

Ruben Olivera is too naive/lacks experience to play effectively with a squad like RM. He seemed really scared, as did Blasi at times, with the numerous fouls he commited. We are lucky no one got the red, as 5 yellows were handed out to Juve players.

Oh well, this is way too long.
I know we can win it at Delle Alpi, the question is just, by how much, since those away goals are going to be killer, shall they score.

Cheers

There is one thing that IMO Camoranesi is the best in the world at: Chesting down the ball. He's fvckng brilliant there, I dont think there's a player in the world who can do it better.
So true. At one point in the first half he chested perfectly a difficult high ball. Really great stuff.

It's only natural that we blast players who played bad and cheer players who played good
yeah its natural... the one thing that is not natural its to call Zlatan an Del Piero the worst thing that ever happend to soccer and start threads to bash these players after they play a bad match... look at the "Player section" after staurday game it was the anti-Zlatan Section, and I bet you anything you want that after todays game its going to become the "Kill- Del Piero Villa"...

Its just depressing to see our fans do that to our players...

Is Nedved alright? Any news on his situation?

Regarding the game WE NEED SOMEONE TO REPLACE NEDVED.
Olivera cannot do the job. Nedved will mostly retire in 1 year time. This is serious. Just look at what happenned when Nedved left the field. We lost all hope in the Mid field.
I just have one question for Capello, why the hell isn't there someone with Zidane? When Zidane takes the ball its almost impossible to cut it, I understand that. But why do we let the ball reach him in the first place. A man to man with Zidane was needed big time.
Note on the side, when tacchinardi entered our midfield started to hold on to the ball better.

And whats up with the ref? There are some fouls that were given to Real where we didn't even touch their players!!!

This game the forwards cannot do anything in it. No one to give them the ball. Emerson was ok though.

Our team lack a key player someone like : Zidane, nedved, Kaka, Aimar ..etc.
The return leg will be very difficult.

We Really missed Nedved this Game...

Anyhow, am quite happy about this Result, Lets not forget we are playing away, So i suppose the Return will see Juve better having Trezguet and Neddy back....

I only like Zambrotta and Emerson today...

The rest sucks, i still don't know how Zlatan missed that chance, arghhh

Anyhow no problem.....

the best player today was Emerson IMO.he was everywhere I wish if Nedved played the whole match, any news from him ??is he ok?
Olivera: is a great player, but he is still young not ready for the big challenges like these.BUT,if he can't control himself,he is in trouble and will give us headaches.
Blasi: what the hell is that? is he a football player or what?all he do is jump on players kick them etc.. if there was another refree he would be sent for sure..
Del piero::rolleyes:
Zlatan: trying to do something. It makes me sick too sometimes when he plays it byhimself like there is no one around him.but he did some nice moves too trezeguet was needed to complete him.
Zebina+cannavaro+thuram+zamrotta= did nice job.
camoranesi:eek:ne of juve's key players,did a good job too,especially kicking zidane all the time:howler:

all what we need now is to score 3-4 goals in the coming 2 games in calcio by which we will lead the table again and regain our self confident to kick real out of CL
and thats exactly what i think will happen
i am afraid this need is too old,
we sould have done it 2calcio games ago,
but we simply cant,
better luck next year, we sould buy 2 serius attackers, no ecxuses left

denco, I disagree with your ratings of 3 player: Blasi, Emerson and Camoranesi

Blasi was stupid and not good, Emerson was good and Camo was good too

I wouldn't be so confident for the return leg. Delle Alpi is not a fort like the Bernabeu or San Siro is. Our opponents will not be scared with a half empty stadium so unless it's all filled up with Juve fans I doubt we can do anything.
