I am not a big fan of attacking formations and I can't imagine italian team without defensive approach , it's our strategy and we can't change easily , our strengh comes from our defence .

Real match is no doubt the most important match of the season CL is what crowds , fans and media looking for , frankly i don't care a lot about Scuadetto , i found out that when we lost againest milan 2 seasons ago

Capello did a great job againest Real when he was at roma , actually he traind them and knows the mentality over there

5-3-2 seems fine and i was expecting capello to go with this tactic earlier in the season and 5-4-1 there with fast counter attacks seems good idea aswell

--------------- gigi
------ thuram-------canna----- montero
zebina----------emerson-------------------zamby
---------camo-------nedved--------- alex
-------------------- zlatan

or incase nedved injured

-------------- gigi
---- thuram - canna----montero
zebina ----- emerson - blasi------zambrotta
------------------ camo
-----------------zlatan----- trez

* zebina will have hard day againest Zidane and R.carlos
* zamby will have to deal with figo and salgado

that's why the first option is better camo and alex can stop salgado and roberto carlos from going forward

And I don't believe in a 3-man defence. Let alone with our defenders' form.

I'd like to try the 4-3-3 if Nedved could play. I can honestly say I've lost my confidence upon hearing he is doubtful for Real.

No matter what, its gonna be tough and all our main players (DP, Zlatan, Nedved, Zambrotta, Camo etc.) have to be at their best.....like in 2003

Otherwise, we're fvcked!

4 defenders for sure!!!

Trezehuet has fever and may will not be ready? Is that true?
Trez is a doubt but it's extremely possible that he'll be ready.

The 2nd option, you think without Nedved who will be our creative player other then Alex... the 2nd option would see us OUT for sure....

JUVENTUS

Juventus will have to find away of taming Real Madrid’s Galacticos in a fixture that promises to be a thriller if past meetings are anything to go by. Capello has installed discipline into this Juventus side and they are an outfit made for the Champions League. Their style is unique in a competition that is very much dominated by attacking teams. In some respects Real Madrid play straight into the hands of the bianconeri who are very much suited to keeping things tight in the middle of the park and remaining solid defensively at all times. This particular tactical approach has frustrated Real Madrid on numerous occasions in the past, but I still believe this will be the hardest tie of the round to call.

Fabio Capello and his team will have to be tactically perfect in order to overcome a rejuvenated Real Madrid team, but then again this has been their main strength so far this season. Though one thing is certain. Real Madrid are beginning to find form and Juventus are not looking as solid as they did in the first half of the season even if Capello will never admit this.

If Juventus make it through to the next round and therefore beat Real Madrid over two legs then they will be in a good position to go all the way. This team has fantastic character and all the players seem to be working for the good of the team which is bringing in the desired results even if they are not entertaining the fans with mesmerising football. In Capello they have a manager who is one of the best in the world. He has been successful at every club he has managed in the past and is perhaps the best tactician in the world.

it looks as though pavel will start on the bench... so juve should play something like this:::::

--------------------gigi------------
--zebina--thuram--canna--montero--
---camo-------emerson-----zambrotta--
----------------delpiero-------------------
-------zlatan-----------trez-----------------

we can't bench dp at all.... i love the way he has been playing lately!!!
and i hope the size of zlatan and trez can cause havoc in the real defense.
forza juve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aren't Trez and Nedved both out of the squad altogether?

No. Trez has the flu, but he could be ready for Real, and Nedved could alsobe in the squad.

I just hope that the manchester game doesnt repeat itself.
