Football governing body UEFA is set to investigate the post-match scrap involving Real Madrid and Juventus after the Old Lady were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the quarter-finals in controversial fashion.

After having lost the first leg 3-0 in Turin, Juventus were 3-0 up in the late stages of the second-leg at the Bernabey before contentious refereeing decisions made by Michael Oliver left them angered and they were knocked out of the competition. There was that inevitable feeling Real were going to get a chance before the final whistle with the way the team was playing and not contesting the midfield at all

I can't understand why Allegri didn't make any subs to kill their flow and slow everything down between the 80-90 minute mark, he really didn't need to take the gamble with the 2 subs for extra time it was all in our own hands

Just had to make sure we got to extra time and our subs being on the pitch an extra 5 minutes really wouldn't have made much of a difference to the game

His cautious approach to everything really baffles me, we are 3-0 up in Madrid why change the tactics if it's not broken don't fix it, had we even scored a 4th they would have then needed 2 goals as we would have had the away goal advantage
