I'm confident about this one.

I think it really comes down to individuals like whether Morata and CR7 can finish on the night or if we can avoid the individual mistakes in defense.

We play better football more fluid football than at this point last season. I don't see a repeat of Lyon. I'm confident the chances will be there and both CR7 and Morty often turn up in the CL.

Well that's been a problem, hasnt it?

Curiously the 2 times we won it we lost the Scu.
No, It's not a problem. Bayern too is a team who always highlights the importance of winning the league. Being the best after one full season of football in your league isn't something to belittle and a true showcase of strenght.

CL is different. It can be decided by minor accidents and mistakes (by refs and/or players), good or bad form in one game and you are out.

But anyway, you don't need to sacrifice one for the other, as highligted by Bayern and others. A team like Juve must not only focus on one trophy.

Fair enough but our case is different, we have a shit ton of Scudetti and only 2 CLs, we should approach it more like Real and Milan have done (prioritizing CL).

We learnt against Napoli that maybe you need 90 minutes to win a game and not 45. We have 180 minutes against Porto so I wonder if we'll wait for the last 45 minutes to try and win that tie.

Tek

Cuads - De Ligt - Chiello - Danilo

Bentancur - Rabiot - Mckennie

Chiesa - Morty - CR7

We win 3-1
Probably the most solid line up available although demiral should start ahead of chiellini in my books but that just won't happen. Rabiot and bentancur need to step it up big time.

Forwards need to be more clinical...we.cant afford to waste chances when it is two legs.

Instead of Rabiot playing 5 games in a row and given this is away, maybe we should play Ben10-Wes CM and AS at LM. Should depend on Rabiot's shape before gameday.

With Arthur out, maybe play Bonucci if 100%.

This season is diff. It has to do with the number 10. Agnelli has been pretty obsessed about it for a few years. Scudetto is the primary objective and rightly so.

Imagine all the anti juventini harakiri if/when we do 10 in a row.

We're a bit gassed and missing a couple important players, but Porto have drawn their last 4 games and are way beyond Sporting in league. This is our game, no excuses.

Rabiot is suspended for Serie A, so he is definitely playing vs Porto.

Porto isn't even winning their league this year being 8 points adrift and only mustered a 2-2 draw at home against Boavista yesterday.

That probably means we'll lose 1-0 Wednesday.
