We like to overate our players, the best midfield in Europe, best defense , Tevez world class, and such. We are made too look good because we are playing in a lousy league. Truth is we are no where top 8 in Europe. Remember how Celtic dominates SPL, that is what we are doing. The difference is Celtic fans know their league is shit,and thus they know the real state of their team quality, but we here still thinking this is the Serie A from pre-calciopoli. And thus we overrate the team. So stop overrating, and stop treating this is the best team in Serie A because we had 102 points, cause this Serie A league means nothing. Problem is our team sucks. And we think we have a great team because we scored 102 points in shitty league like Serie A. The team sucks, and the sooner you admit this, the lesser the expectation would be and the lesser the pain will be.
And one more thing, what is the point of having Lichsteiner and Asamoah on the field, when you are losing? They suck in attacking play, 3-5-2 is only good when you are facing better opponent where you know you will defend most of the time, because you will use both Asa and Licht and defend with 5 players.Otherwise is just waste of two positions, when you could field fast wingers and make trouble, especially when you are facing weaker opponents and when you are a goal down.
On a night when Dortmund (who pulverized our conquerors from last season 4-0 away from home) and Real Madrid won big away from home, and Cerci the cunt scored for ATM, Juventus were, once again, exposed for the fraudulent and pathetic joke that they are in Europe, particularly away from home (one draw and 5 losses from our last 6 away games

Pirlo was an absolute disaster, and must never start a European game again (home or away, especially away). We didn't show up for about 60 minutes, and then decided to wake up in the last half hour. WTF was that all about? Why are we such pussies, lacking courage, vision, and balls when we play in Europe? Where is the pressing? Where is the pace? Why the fuck can't we deliver one decent cross into the box? So many questions, and no answers.
Teams don't fear us in Europe, In Fact, they might not even respect us, and we only have ourselves to blame. We need to be hungrier and more aggressive, taking the game to our opponents. Olympiakos are not a bad team and have claimed some notable scalps on home turf, but our approach to this game was totally wrong. So many misplaced passes (especially from Pirlo) which led to dangerous counters, and eventually a goal for the hosts.

1.) Pirlo is a liability in European games
2.) We are slow, predictable, and lacking in ideas
3.) We lack urgency and don't press enough
4.) We can't cross for shit
5.) Allegri is a reactive, not a proactive coach
6.) We don't shoot from distance (nowhere near enough considering the players we have at our disposal)
7.) We have scored 0 goals in out last two European games, and lost 5 of our last 6 away games in Europe
The bottom line is we continue to look pathetic and clueless in Europe. We need a change in mentality, approach, and attitude, and we need it fast.
6-7 points in our next 3 games will get us 2'nd place. If we wish to finish top, we have to win our next 3 fixtures. It's a very difficult feat, but not impossible. However, if we harbor any ambition of continuing in this competition, we need to wake up, and fast!

We need to play at a much higher tempo. We need to stop playing 5 defenders. We must have more movement up front. We must be more aggressive and finally we must go out to win games. All the talk about us not having enough money or good enough players to compete in the CL is utter bs as long as we continue to lose or draw to team that are much inferior to us as it stands.
As fans we are, but a new squad, new management etc certainly aren't flopping in Europe because of what a bunch of different people done a decade ago.
Can't believe we haven't won the CL in such a long time, and the way things are going we won't be winning it in the next decade either.

I think this sums up our football in Europe perfectly. We don't commit many players forward with any sort of purpose (apart from corners of which most are played short again due to the fear of being counter-attacked from). There is almost always a minimum of 5 players behind the ball (Buffon, back 3 and the holding midfielder).
This results in us never being ahead of the game. Either we stay level, or as often happens, we go behind and then wait until the last 20 minutes to have a go as we have nothing left to lose.

Today´s game is less of the chessgame it was before. Because tactics need to be on par with skills and approach. We got skill, but our tactics and approach are totally dated.
Italian coaches and their mentality is a major issue. They cling to tha golden era when defensive game shutted down offensive, sadly italy lacks quality defenders to pull this, and on top of that, lousy attackers.

Thats being criminal to that team. We were very good but Nedved was absent in that final, and he was on "Ballon D or" level in that precise moment. You are seriously underestimating the way Nedved alone almost singledhandedly CARRIED us to that final. He was in unreal form.

Milan was like 12th in the league and they still made it past a harder group than yours. Napoli beat all of Dortmund, Marseille, and Arsenal at home in their 1st year in CL.

Hydde, the absence of Nedved is not an excuse for choking the biggest game in such digusting fashion. Even without him we were so much better than that mediocre Milan(I know many will disagree, but they were really mediocre). It was a very good team, but I always get a little annoyed when Juve fans protray it as a Dream Team, when we couldn't even win a CL. The other seasons we didn't do anything in Europe. It's indicative of our mentality towards Europeand how we are content with just being good, rather than the best as it should be.
