Vidal was as least for 6.
evra too.

allegri should have brought in pereyra waaaay earlier. we were able to hold some possession on monaco's half only after pereyra came in.

considering all the illnesses, we played a heroic match. chiellini, morata and licht were disastrous, and only morata has some excuses.

Three players were sick tonight: Morata, Tevez and Vidal.

This isn't good. Remember that game against Manchester United when virus struck the team and we were missing like 15 players.

We should do more to prevent this shit from spreading.

There is one big concern I take away from this game (again): both Licht and Chiellini are simply not up to the standards required at this kind of level.
Chiellini is always insecure, each time he was near the ball I had a fucking coronary. Licht we know, he cannot beat the man and cannot cross: totally useless. Rugani will fill the gap in the back but what about the right side? we are starving for a decent player on that part of the pitch

I cant agree with Chiellini, he is still good enough for me to play in the first team, but Licht lately has been really bad. I was really hoping for Padoin instead of him in the second half and that really says something.

Chiellini against one of the three teams left will give away a penalty and get a red card

I suppose illness goes some way to explaining the poor performance from the attacking third (the formation is also a bit of a problem in that respect), but we did just enough in the end.

Delighted to get through, our name belongs amongst the elite, and I'm hopeful that we can do well against teams who demand the CL trophy every season. These sort of campaigns are what bring us back to a level of prestige and give additional financial benefits which lay the foundations for us to do this every season. You can't take it for granted that we will always be good enough to win QFs with all the money floating around previously mediocre clubs these days, but our target has to be this stage over and over.

I thought Monaco looked a little inexperienced and naive by going very central against us second half, they ran out of ideas, but that is a team with players who are obviously going to make their mark most probably with other leading teams in the future, kind of reminds me of old Monaco. Kondogbia continues to impress me, and he would be a first choice for me if it wasn't for our heavy CM, Kurzawa looks like a good athlete, even if he is a little unrefined, and Martial and Carrasco have raw talent and directness which will shine through.

That Abdennour fella is a good defender but what a horrible whiny bitch of a guy. He would also suit Serie A.

Chiellini is lucky that Ogbonna is hopeless, because he's mostly staying in the team for that and his experience/reputation. His place is under serious threat in both a back four or three next season if Rugani arrives.

That said, he was very good second half when Monaco totally played into his hands with lots of central and high balls, but he is risking a penalty, free-kick and/or card every time someone gets around him in tight wide areas. I shudder to think about him against the likes of Robben, Ronaldo and Messi right now.

Chiellini is always insecure, each time he was near the ball I had a $#@!ing coronary. Licht we know, he cannot beat the man and cannot cross: totally useless. Rugani will fill the gap in the back but what about the right side? we are starving for a decent player on that part of the pitch
I find it rediculous that a fullback is judged solely on offensive talent on here. Of course he cannot play offense, he is a defender! I really think people are getting brainwashed by the headless EPL to think that defenders are just psuedo-attackers. He is a great defender who tries his best to offer an outlet up top when he can. The 3-5-2 is a defensive formation and always will be. A wingback is not a winger.

Bonucci and barzagli are our best defend in this season . Anyone can see that.As for Chiellini, he's been having a awful season.he should limit his mistakes especially when we playing in important matchs. he made horrible mistakes during this season.
Lich should have been benched weeks ago and there's no excuse for ever using padoin over him. im waiting to see caceres.we can use him instead Lichsteiner .

From Fuccking Seria B to the semi-finals of the Champions league in 8 years. No one would achieve that, only Juve. I don't care about the way we did it, we are in the top 4. Nobody would have expected that at the start of the season, and yet here we are.

I'm certain that we will see a great Juve side in the semi final, regardless of the oponnent.

Despite our shit performance yesterday, we still had the two best chances of the match.

People blinded by Monaco having alot of the ball, but barring Barza nearly scoring an OG they created nothing.

Bonucci this season is for me the best CB in the World.
