First good morning everyone

Yesterday i cant stop thinking about our mid, i notice that they are not pushing forward enough its like they instructed for not doing that.
I understand that three players were sick and for that we are not risking the counter attack

I find it rediculous that a fullback is judged solely on offensive talent on here. Of course he cannot play offense, he is a defender! I really think people are getting brainwashed by the headless EPL to think that defenders are just psuedo-attackers. He is a great defender who tries his best to offer an outlet up top when he can. The 3-5-2 is a defensive formation and always will be. A wingback is not a winger.
a wingback is not a fullback. I am not expecting Cristiano Ronaldo, but a couple of decent crosses and a couple of defenders beaten per game, yes I do expect that. And that never happens in Europe, and even with Italian minnows does not really happen.

Anyway i cant judge a player by one game.
He is like a war machine, one bad game doesnt mean he shitty

Despite our $#@! performance yesterday, we still had the two best chances of the match.

People blinded by Monaco having alot of the ball, but barring Barza nearly scoring an OG they created nothing.

Bonucci this season is for me the best CB in the World.
and why and how was that actually something to be praised about? :sergio: if stopping monaco was something praise worthy then what to be said about the likes of melberg grygera molinaro stopped real madrid few years ago?

no wonder the team (and to lesser extend the whole club) has mental block, when some of the fans really think stopping monaco is something to be praised about for a club like juve.

Still being that guy?

I didn't like our overall attitude or performance, playing on one goal is very risky, but I think that was also a little forced considering the condition of our attacking players.

As for it not being praised about it, I'm sure a fair few Arsenal fans wouldn't mind if their team could grind out results like this.

It's also worth noting that not only us dictated how this game was played. Monaco are a team who typically don't score so many and keep it tight at the back whilst looking for counter attacks, so it wasn't going to be an open classic. That isn't going to happen against either of the three teams left, but I presume you'd be quite happy to see us back to an open 4-3-1-2 with gaps all over the place, giving the perception that we are playing well because we are attacking better.

...The 3-5-2 is a defensive formation...
just on a sidenote: when 3-5-2 first appeared, it was actually considered an attacking formation. it was first used by offensive teams like argentina or brazil, and the wingbacks were more like wingers than fullbacks.

There is one big concern I take away from this game (again): both Licht and Chiellini are simply not up to the standards required at this kind of level.
Chiellini is always insecure, each time he was near the ball I had a $#@!ing coronary. Licht we know, he cannot beat the man and cannot cross: totally useless. Rugani will fill the gap in the back but what about the right side? we are starving for a decent player on that part of the pitch
True and you never know when Chiello will eventually foul the opponent doesn't matter if he is onside in the box or outside.

Chiellini needs to change his studs on his boots or buy new ones he just keep slipping. Hope he gets back to his former self now that we need him the most.

WTF is wrong with you guys, instead of celebrating all I've read is bashing our performance, and how we didn't deserve to go trough, or how Real/Barca/Bayern is going to rape us.

You know what, we played bad, but who gives a shit we are are in semi finals, can't we be satisfied for a day at least, especially after everything we went trough.

The exposure that we get from the semi finals is huge. We will be the only match on that night and the whole world will be watching.

Reaching the semi final of the CL is a way bigger achievement than winning Serie A and the club should do everything they can to try and reach the semi final as much as possible.
