Monaco had a bunch of shots but didnt create shit.

Oh, best chance of the game was a counter that Morata should have passed to tevez who'd be clear 1v1 with the keeper
But that's bout it for us. We played horrible. Consider all the bad passes.

I really don't understand the hate Pirlo gets on here.

He (again) was our best creator, and came closest to scoring. He wasn't amazing, but the whole team was poor, why is he being singled out?

For all we were poor, Monaco really didn't have many chances, and that at least gives me hope for the semis!

The main thing is to avoid Bayern, as I just don't think we can beat them over two games!

More like 20 years ago, right? I don't know him as an analyst, but then who is a good analyst? Vialli? ;)
I find most italian analysts to be having a certain agenda, or dont evolve into the modern game with their thinking, thus making poor analysts.

Current day tacticians would do a much better job. Any of the top6 coaches would do well. Well, 5 and a violin player

Europsort.it starting it's article with if Juve got Real, Bayern or Barca instead of Monaco they wouldn't be where they are now...

sure, maybe but fuck off.

cunts!
And if Bayern got Barca one of them wouldn't be here.

What's their point?

Oh, so only the pretty teams can go trough ?

Why the $#@! are you supporting an italian team even
and that's why I was just thinking, cannavaro statement about being italian must be proud of the italian heritage which is defending, is totally wrong and too outdated, one of the reason is what was discussed here some time ago, the game has changed, defending is actually frowned upon by the goverment who rule football -fifa- by giving too much advantage to attackers compared to what I often saw you said it : glorious past era football.

so in some way, brutal defending like in the past which italian are proud of would just awarded by punishment more often that actual reward.

and about the game, it's ridiculous that you who often talk about tactics yet turn blind eye with the fact that we could not even string more than 4 passes, much less attacking them, which by definition is what part of supposedly tactics.

being pleased with the game we just saw is literally like being pleased with winning 1-0 by controversial penalty in coppa quarterfinal against mid table serie a team (heck it could even be parma) who in reality actually created more chances than us over 2 legs.

yet I can surely bet that 95% members here would not be so pleased.

Too many people argue about stupid things.

And too many people are filled with hatred and enjoy more seeing other teams choke and suffer rather than celebrating and being happy with our success.

Get your priorities right. You sound like a bunch of Inter fans.

most important than pogba return that we have to sort the shit out for our selves, such kind of performance against any of the 3 will be embarrassing
yes,but with big teams we have always played well. I think today we underestimated Monaco...

I bet the next game will be Juve-Barca...and if we play like JUVE we will do something... a another 2003 maybe...

everytime I saw such plays, I know they are not part of the plan... there are massive differences between this game and the game on dortmund, the later was when everything actually went as planned, this? highly doubt it.

people are deluded and in denial if they think such game just before was the definition of 'we knew what we were doing'

Allegri: Tevez until two hours beforehand was in doubt to play at all because he was vomiting for two days straight. Vidal had fever and Pirlo had played two games in a row after being out for two months
