everytime I saw such plays, I know they are not part of the plan... there are massive differences between this game and the game on dortmund, the later was when everything actually went as planned, this? highly doubt it.

people are deluded and in denial if they think such game just before was the definition of 'we knew what we were doing'
Yeah, why do we even need a coach

I understand totally why Pirlo was chosen. For all he's done, for his experience, his calming presence, everything... at first glance, obvious choice... and it would be really hard to sit him, imagine if that backfired.

However, in this specific type of match, Marchisio playing there just would have suited us so much better and made the nail-biting a little less torturous.
imagine the reactions here if he scored that FK though

Sacchi? Zola and Signori were so hot during that WC and he plays Massaro. Fuck Sacchi. Never gives Allegri any credit.

You must be joking? It was blatantly obvious we were instructed to just soak up the pressure until monaco woúld tire out. Allegri assessed monaco and knew our team would be able to hold them off. We barely went forward because there was no real need to, unlike dortmund because dortmund had an away goảl against us in the 1st leg. Was it risky? Yes. Woúlf monaco have chances? Yes, all of which were dealt with. Did it mean juve would give a perfect performance? No, mistakes, mispasses etc wld still happen esp in CL w this Juve team. Bt the whole game plan was there and it worked. Monaco got frustrated, demoralized and tired by the end of it all. Ugly but effective.

most important than pogba return that we have to sort the shit out for our selves, such kind of performance against any of the 3 will be embarrassing
Pretty sure its gonna be embarrasing, considering how our players usually deals with cl. Evra beeing our best player over 2 matches says it all really

Ok, assume you are right. This would still not explain why we weren't more clinical on the (few) counter attacks. I mean, just jogging into the opponent's half couldn't have been the plan, could it?

Watched only the last 30 minutes of the 1st half.

Then "watched" by reading your comments, was it really bad like you lot made it, did they have chances to score, or it was just another panic day at tuz?

I don't listen to what that racist says about Juve, I still rate him high as tactician and manager though.
Everything in his time period

Sacci was a great tactician and manager. About a decade of 2-3 ago.

There is a time and a place when he should realise he's an analyst now, and i consider him a poor one.

This was a terrible performance by us. We parked the bus against an average team. Home and away the performances have been very disappointing. I'll take the win and run

we could have scored one if it wasnt for the bad decision making from Morata

More like 20 years ago, right? I don't know him as an analyst, but then who is a good analyst? Vialli? ;)

Monaco had a bunch of shots but didnt create shit.

Some half chance clearance by barzagli, and Buffon fumbeling a cross wich evra logically dismissed. Thats about it.

Monaco didnt had shit for 180 minutes, while we had several clear cut chances in the first leg.

Oh, best chance of the game was a counter that Morata should have passed to tevez who'd be clear 1v1 with the keeper
