WTF, Appiah in a three men deffence, Camoranesi as play maker :dazed: , no all ya need is to replace Buffon with Chimenti, callback Paramati, Baiocoo, Dimas and joy the party :fool:
Camoranesi can play as a play maker , he have a good dribling capabilities , while for appia i recommend to warm the bench or get red of him completly with kapo:D

Take it easy, Camoranesi is having a good season but he don't fit to play the free role, we should stop this sort of clever inventions and play Neddy where he belongs....

--------------Zlatan

---------DP---Neddy---Camo

------------Tacchi---Emeo

Zambro--Canna--Thuram----Zebina

----------------Buffon

I'm afraid Capello will play this:

3-4-3

Buffon
Thuram-Cannavaro-MONTERO
Camoranesi-Emerson-TACCHINARDI-Zambrotta
Zlatan-Trez-Nedved
it can work against teams like milan and chelsea with strong MF
but against Lpool Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh i dont think so

I think you are right, Camo is very good on the side line. Beside that, I think, if he was on the same side as Zambro. then they could cover each other very well. But now, it is also ok, we can use left and right flanks.

Guy guys guys.. Tacchinardi has a two match ban.. So he is not available for the next Liverpool match either. Ronaldo also received a two match ban which will affect him next season.

Pessotto was good in the midfield so he must play there, he helped Zambrotta on the flank also. I say play Pessotto where he played in the 2nd half.

3 man defence with Zambrotta, Cannavaro and Thuram is enough: Pessotto helps on the left and Camoranesi hellps on the right the latter is the player that has been helping the defenders most.

Emerson should be able to deal withe the middle by himself and Nedved must have a free role next to him.

The three forwards should be back with Zlatan, Trezeguet and Del Piero.

The formation will be like this:

Buffon
Thuram Cannavaro Zambrotta
Camoranesi Emerson Nedved Pessotto
Zlatan Trezeguet Del Piero

If we take a 2 goal lead then Tacchinardi can replace one of the forwards (most probably Del Piero).

@Zlatan: You say that Liverpool were most dangerous on their right (our left) and you intend to stop them by giving Nedved more defensive duties than necessary and playing Appiah in a three man defence? That's ignorance imo. Nedved is bound to do a good set of attacking, Olivera too, and you have them operating in the area that Liverpool penetrated in the first leg. When they get caught out it's going to be Garcia and Baros against Appiah and Thuram. The former is the clear winner in my view.

I'd play something like this:

Buffon
Birindelli Thuram Cannavaro Zambrotta
Camoranesi Emerson Nedved Pessotto
Ibrahimovic Del Piero

Zambrotta and Pessotto can interchange and cover for each other but Zamboy would predominantly play in the more defensive position as he adds some necessary pace to our backline. Nedved wouldn't play as a conventional central midfielder but as an attacking midfielder. Pessotto supplies solidity and can offer extra width that Blasi can't. If we need another goal bring on Trez or Zala for Pesso. Your formation is very risky and I don't think we need to take massive risks from the word go as 1-0 is enough to see us through.
Pessotto and Zambo would give Pool hard time, just like they did with Figo and beckham, and i Agree Birindelli is the best option we can have up there, He's fast, strong, it's hard for someone to stop him....And About Nedved i think when you have Pessoto on the left then this means Nedved playing almost as playmaker which i see it as a good thing....

I agree with this formation.

im sorry but, rambo as a lcb ?? somehow i doubt it would work. Left back, left wing back, but not a centre back....he spends most his time bombing forward, why waste him by making him defend all day.

He's not gonna defend all day, he will be working with Pessotto alternating and after one of the forwards is replaced he will stay on the wing all the time

Well, let's see you then. I gave reasons for every decision I made, and TBH, it might not be as bad as you think.

Gotta take some risks, get your balls out of your wife's/girlfriend's purse and take a chance or two.
