I actually spent some time looking back at some pages in this thread and came to a conclusion that many (not all) Juve supporters here are what I call preudo supporters. Many question a man who probably has the most pedigree in the footballing world. The man has practically won everything.
Since his arrival, we have always been in front in Serie A, winning one and another one on the way. I wonder if you ever think about the physical and mental pressure is put on the shoulders of those guys? I mean, they played a game last weekend, and some travelling half around the globe one week earlier to play an international friendly match. On another note, Werder just came of a seasonal break in Germany so their feet must have been lighter than ours which seem despite all that has been happening in recent weeks, full of zest.
I agree with the notion that the team didn´t´do good at first half, but in the second we really stepped up our game. I also like to point out that Capello wasn´t happy with the way everyone was so stressed to get a goal so early on that the players weren´t cool with their finishing.
The match was very tense and very entertaining, maybe too tense at times but hey that´s football.
And to hear people saying that Juve should win Werder easily are all wrong and know NOTHING and I mean NOTHING about football. I mean football is not predictably in any way and this competition has showed that anyone can win on any given tuesday or wednesday.
Ok, we were lucky but who isn´t? I mean, they got lucky Emerson didn´t finish off his chance in the closing stages of the first half. I can point out many things that could have gone better in our way. But please don´t think football game is lost or won before the whistle is blown. Especially not in a competition as CL.
Good night and Good luck!
