Yes I gave the wrong examples, but on a normal level eboue certainly aint a first teamer and to be perfectly honest neither is senderos or kolo. you already named your first team earliar which is laauren, sol, clichy, cole. Believe me it may have not had enough pace in the game too. As you had the young defenders in charge the likes of Sol would have certainly lost the plot with our strikers pace.

Good god. Kolo's always been our first teamer. Who do you think started alongside Sol the last few years?

And I know you can't take this: while you were missing Nedved (I don't count DP as your first teamer), we were also missing Sol and Cole...and not to mention Clichy who would have started ahead of Flamini, our make-shift LB. These three playes would have improved our team....and same thing could only be said of Nedved for your team.

Yeah, okay, Gilberto who has been totally out of form for like 5 months out of this season. Fabregas isn't all that defensive. Lehmann has been great but you can't say Cech hasn't. Chelsea's style is a lot more defensive and they have Makelele who's always defensive and Essien who's usually defensive but can at times be given permission to be on level with Lampard attacking (barely ever). So Terry having great defenders (if you don't think they are world class) in Gallas, Carvalho, Ferreira, etc. and world class DMC's and a world class keeper had much more help than Toure who had basically Lehmann (since Senderos and Fabregas, as good as they may be for their age weren't performing all the time this season, although Fabregas was nearly every game and Gilberto's performances were atrocious at times. Lauren, Cygan, Seb Larsson and whatever other make-shift LB we had wasn't really doing too well on there and neither was Flamini really until recently. With all the shit our defence has had this season, having conceded the third least amount goals in the EPL (the same as Milan according to you) is quite a feat to manage and Kolo, with Jens is primarily responsible for this.

The fact that yes chelsea are world class with world class players has some affect on Terrys performance but despite that even when you look at his performance individually and how he has saved some embarrasments happening at the backline he remains a credit for chelsea and is one of only few defenders who starts week in week out. His a great leader and as I said before his scored even goals as a player he is a great and when it comes to defending he uses that to promote his abilities. He is great in the air, has pace, a good tackler and although may not be as good as toure for the past month, he almost certainly remains one of englands/ EPL best. Kolo as I said has yet to proove it his only had a few good months if any who has he faced this CL tournament?

A poor trezeguet and zlatan, who I admit were not at their best.

A group which they were favourites to come through in.

It would most certainly be questionable if he performs the same against teh likes of barcelona. Terry most certainly has and although he may be blamed for the own goal at stamford bridge in my eyes performed very well just like he always does i the big games.

Which is why I say he is better consistently, you have toure, but undoubtly kolo remains a question mark whilst nesta has prooven.

First off, I'm saying Kolo has been more consistent than Nesta this year. Secondly, this is the third season Toure has been playing for us and this year he just upped his level. Also, I never said that Toure is better than Nesta, I said that on current form or going by this season, Toure is at least as good as if not better than Nesta.

No, but I've watched every game this year. Also, all analysts are pretty much a joke IMHO. While some know more than others, none of them are geniuses of the game and if they were slating Toure, they were doing it wrongfully.

There hasnt been much prooved regarding both players consistency. They have both been great this season for their respective teams and I dont think you can really say kolo has been better than nesta. On tuesday as I said earliar kolo faced a very poor trezeguet and ibrahimovic. Whilst nesta faced the inform sidney govou and carew. And note it was at lyons ground.

Lyon were pretty poor on Wednesday. I don't know how you can Carew\Govou are in great form. Also, I didn't see what formation they played as I only watched parts of the match but Govou was probably playing AM R and not ST (in FM terms ). Toure > Nesta this season IMO. He's played with the shittier defence, and the out of form DM and yet managed to make us the Premiership's third least team to concede goals. Don't you think it's possible that Trez was poor partly because of great defending by Toure-Senderos? Don't you remember the two last ditch tackles made by Toure and Senderos on Ibrahimovic? Sure, Juve were very poor but they were favorites coming into this match and they played badly a lot because we defended well and played well.

Oh please....Terry had an own goal. Then he fouls Messi in the penalty box THEN he puts his hand all over the ball and the referee still didn't give a penalty. That disgraceful referee saved him another embarrassment right there. He was also responsible for the Ronaldhino's goal in Nou Camp.
Did you see that goal? Terry was going to bodycheck Ronaldhino but strangely he was the one who fell onto the ground and Ronaldhino was free on his way to rocket the ball into the back of the net, securing the victory.

Terry does not always perform well in the big games.
