After watching substitutions in both games,it becomes rather apparent that our anemic side is leading serieA comfortably. Yes Ancelotti got away with it but wht the hell was that? Ambrossini for Pirlo and maldini for Gatusso? Well I think they could go on for 94 minutes because most of them didnt play on saturday (hint Capello)
As for Mancini, going out to Villareal is bad enough but for heaven's sakes what the hell is bringing on Mihalovic for Figo about?.

Why do you people think it's luck ?? Although we werent at our best against Lyon, we were fighting to the very end. A football match is played for a full 90 mins. Lyon let their guards down and they had to pay for it. I think we have earned our qualification and thoroughly deserved it.

Milan were in no Luck. They showed once more that they're an outstanding team. And TBH, Whether they scored in the last 5min or not, you gotta love the way they keep on fighting. May they beat one of Barca/Benfica and go to Paris. Hopefully Juve can follow them, though It's kinda hard.

italian clubs do not all get luck only to progress, look at manchester in 1999 how they won it, and pool last year, to win this competition you need alot of luck as well

italian clubs do not all get luck only to progress, look at manchester in 1999 how they won it, and pool last year, to win this competition you need alot of luck as well

Yup....too much luck, IMHO.

They should lengthen the competition...maybe 3 matches between teams in each step (ie best 2 out of 3*)....and only allow the top 2 finishers in each country's domestic league into the qualifying rounds.

*team with the better record gets home field advantage for 2 of the 3 matches
