Yes, I'm sure...why not? ;)
With Biri, Figo wouldn't get a lot space to play an art footie there :D
I guess you didnt watch the first half of the first game. Figo had all sorts of time, thats why they made an adjustment in the second half (I believe they put Pessotto in Biri's spot )

IMO, Biri should not start

torino: life is very calm here but he said that you can barely see the sun there

Calm says the guy who quite often visited certain clubs and has quite a reputation when it comes to night life if I'm not mistaken :D

It did? LOL Sometimes I think we're better off not knowing what these people so many admire (dare I say worship) are up to in their free time. :D

I've heard stories about Lippi changing his tactics a little bit for the return leg. According to Channel 4 Italia, Lippi wants to field a 3-man defense.

We don't usually play with this kind of formation but IMHO, I dont think it's a bad idea.

Here are my reasons:

1. Iuliano and Ferrara are both suspended so it would be hard to find the perfect partner for Montero.

2. We need to score goals because I personally dont think that scoring just one goal against Real would be safe enough.

3. This gives more freedom for Nedved having an extra player in midfield than the usual 4.

4. We would be able to control the midfield more because:

a) Makelele is out, Davids & Tacchi in.

b) We have numerical superiority in midfield.

c) We can used Tudor to play even behind Davids and Tacch

Anyway, those are my reasons for the support of this "possible change of tactics".

Overall, this would be my line-up:

3-1-4-2

-------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------Buffon-------------------------------

--Thuram----------Montero------------Zambrotta----

-----------------------Tudor-------------------------------

----------Tacchinardi-----Davids------------------------

--Camoranesi---------------------------Nedved--------

-------------Del Piero-------------------------------------

------------------------------------Trezeguet------------

-------------------------------------------------------------
clever:D

Primo, dont you think that youre line up here is a little bit too offesive,I mean what happens when Thuram or Zambrotta wants to make a run:confused:

----------------------Buffon-------------------------------

--Thuram----------Montero------------Zambrotta----

-----------------------Tudor-------------------------------

----------Tacchinardi-----Davids------------------------

--Camoranesi---------------------------Nedved--------

-------------Del Piero-------------------------------------

------------------------------------Trezeguet------------

Anyway, good luck Juve and Alessandro please show your worth, and go Pavel go:fero:

I read in the ral madrid official site that ronald will possibly play, but makelele is out. All the other three will play.

playong againest real with 3 men defence is a suicide !!

especially if u guys choosed zambrotta as a defender !!!

the ideal formation should be the same with minor changes in the second half

---------------------------------- buffon
-thuram--- tudor ----- montero-----birindelli (pessoto)

zambrotta -- tach ---- davids --- nedved

--------------- trezeguet ------------------ del piero

we can change it by entering camo (wich i don't recomend) and switch zamby to left back position

I definetely like the idea, but I don't think that this match, being a semifinal and all, is the right time to experiment, and if I were to play this tactic tomorrow, Zambrotta would definetely not be one of my CBs and I wouldn't give Camoranesi the start as he doesn't seem to be at full fitness.

Here's my 3-1-4-2:

Buffon
Thuram Montero Iuliano
Tudor
Zambrotta Tacchinardi Davids Nedved
Trezeguet Del Piero

Isn't Iuliano suspended?

I think mine's been said already, but what the heck:

----------------------------buffon-------------------------------

--------thuram-----tudor ----- montero-----pessotto

---------Camo------------tacchi----- davids ------------------

---------------------------Neddy--------------------------------

--------------- Trez ------------------ Alex

To me Tudor and Montero are the perfect man markers for the danger man upfront, Raul, and Thuram should be able to keep Ronaldo quiet. As for Zidane, Tacchinardi and Davids will cover him. And another thing I like about this formation is that it can be easily converted into a 4-4-2 with Iuliano and Thuram assuming their positions as full backs and Tudor joining Montero in the centre. Nifty isn't it? :D
