I'd feel sad loosing to Pool, but I dunno if to say better to loose to Pool than to Chel$ki.

All those 'emergency' fans in my neighbourhood will not let me have peace if we go thru and loose to them!

I don't know what to say, I think IF we go through we can edge over Chelsea, but then again I cannot see us in the semis

Alessandro del Piero hopes tonight's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Liverpool brings out the best in Juventus both on and off the pitch.

The game at the Stadio delle Alpi will be transmitted by 30 television channels, but is considered as a high risk by the Italian police because of the bad blood created between the sides by the 1985 Heysel disaster, in which 39 supporters died.

Del Piero has sent out a message to the Bianconeri supporters in the hope that they will show the same respect towards the Liverpool fans as they received a week ago at Anfield when both teams commemorated the 20th anniversary of the tragedy.

'I was a boy when the Heysel disaster happened,' said the Italy striker and Juve captain.

'I know that nothing that we do can cancel what happened.

'The wish of both clubs and of the Liverpool fans is not to erase what happened but to show that things can be done the right way.

'The tribute at Anfield gave the Liverpool fans the opportunity to say sorry and we have to remember that these fans were not the ones that were at Heysel 20 years ago.

'We have to accept in an intelligent way their excuses and make sure that the Heysel tragedy remains a lesson for the future.'

Del Piero will be paired in Juve's attacking line alongside Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after French scoring sensation David Trezeguet was ruled out at the last minute due to an ankle injury.

Both strikers showed their sizzling form in Saturday's 3-3 draw against Fiorentina in Serie A, when Fabio Capello's men came from behind three times to remain at the top of the league standings alongside AC Milan.

But only a win will do for Juventus if they wish to progress tonight, having lost 2-1 at Anfield in the first leg last week.

'We are thinking of only winning the game,' said del Piero.

'We know that it can be done and we only have to concentrate on our strengths in order to defeat them.'

Juve are well capable of turning around a negative result, as witnessed when they knocked Real Madrid out of the competition in the previous round.

'Nothing has changed with respect to our approach to the clash against Real Madrid and this game,' said del Piero.

'Our intention is to remain concentrated and stop them from scoring, because Liverpool have scored a lot of goals away from home, they are very efficient.'
