Did someone ask for rating? :D

Buffon 6,5 One really excellent save and generally did everything well.
Zebina 6 Really hard game against Ze Roberto, did OK.
Cannavaro 7 Nuff said
Thuram 6,5 One mistake in the 1st half, otherwise, excellent.
Zambrotta 6,5 Good defensively, one great forward run in the 1st half.
Camoranesi 6 Some good, some bad.
Emerson 6,5 Nothing spectacular as usual
Blasi 6,5 Same as Emerson
Nedved 6,5 Not a great game but scored the important winner.
Zlatan 5,5 Caught offside on too many occasions, tries to be too flashy at time too, be patient, he will come good.
Del Piero 6 Looked rusty as to be expected.

Subs:

Zala 6 didn't really get into the game much.

Feel free to agree/disagree with me ;)

I didn't see the last two games but with 3 straight 1-0 wins we must be incredibly exciting to watch.. :D

Not complaining as long as we keep winning though. :p

hmm.. great an important win! it was not a good performance but you have to win such games when you want to win the CL!!! I think their is a lot of potential in this team, and we can go very long..... but i think we should try to make our short pass playing better, not always the long balls!!

Zebina, was doing his job nothing more 4,5
zambro, was good in defence, offense not many 5

I am happy that Nedved saved the day, as someone said in another post in another thread "it looks like the midfield is going to have to score our goals"

This offense is in trouble until Trez is back, DP regains SOME form (I've given up !!), or, we sign Owen in january (I heard he's coming)

Our defense is to be commended, albeit a few mistakes, were pretty solid

I found out today that Blasi and Gattuso have something in common.......no, not that their both overly agressive, but neither know how to dribble a ball !!! That is frustrating !!!!!

Zlatan has a lot to learn, aside from the header to Nedved for the goal, this kid holds the ball WAY too long, and has no idea on the fundamentals of passing a ball. Same with Camo.......................

Buffon was solid as usual.....nothing more to be said there.................

God bless NEDVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Juventus 1 - 0 Bayern Munich

Pavel Nedved's strike sank Bayern Munich and ensured Juventus maintain their 100 per cent record in the Champions' League with three consecutive 1-0 wins.

Alessandro Del Piero returned from three weeks out with a tendon problem to wear the captain's armband in this top of the table clash. The German giants share the leadership of this Group as both teams had a 100 per cent record going into the Stadio Delle Alpi. Zlatan Ibrahimovic retained his spot following the injury to David Trezeguet's shoulder.

Bayern boss Felix Magath is a familiar figure to Juve fans, as he scored the winning goal in the 1983 European Cup Final for Hamburg.

The home side had the first glorious opportunity after seven minutes when Gianluca Zambrotta charged down the left flank and floated in a cross for the head of Ibrahimovic, but the Swede somehow ballooned it over the bar from seven yards.

Soon after, Jonathan Zebina pushed forward and his intelligent through ball found Del Piero, but the finish was extremely weak and straight into the arms of Oliver Kahn.

However, there was panic in the Juve area after 23 minutes when Lilian Thuram was distracted and allowed Roy Makaay to sprint past him. Gianluigi Buffon rushed off his line to slow him down, but it took a Zebina goalline clearance to prevent the Dutchman from scoring.

Ibrahimovic wasted another good chance when he went for glory instead of cutting back for the totally unmarked Del Piero.

There was tension at the dawn of the second half when Torsten Frings escaped without a booking after a late challenge on Zebina, then Kahn was angry with Pavel Nedved when the two went for the same cross and collided.

Kahn nearly gifted Juventus with a goal moments later. Emerson's deflected effort seemed harmless, but the veteran goalkeeper fumbled and Del Piero somehow fired wide of the target from six yards.

Bayern's best move of the game arrived on the hour mark, as Thuram, Zebina and then Zambrotta performed crucial tackles on Salihamidzic, Frings and Makaay in quick succession.

Del Piero left the field after an hour and made way for Marcelo Zalayeta - a planned substitution in his first match since September 25. Zalayeta's opening chance was a glancing header on Mauro Camoranesi's free kick.

Zambrotta's challenge on Schweinsteiger prevented a tricky situation and moments later Juventus broke the deadlock. Ibrahimovic held up a searching Thuram pass for Pavel Nedved's control and accurate left-foot finish.

Bayern hit back immediately and Buffon did well to fingertip Schweinsteiger's rising drive over the bar from close range, then a free kick took everyone by surprise and the goalkeeper was able to clear at the far post. From the resulting corner Salihamidzic incredibly nodded wide from four yards.

Ibrahimovic was all set to make it 2-0 when he hooked a wayward pass with a delightful first touch, but the chip was just off target with Kahn beaten.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus: Buffon; Zebina, Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambrotta; Camoranesi, Emerson, Blasi; Nedved; Ibrahimovic, Del Piero (Zalayeta 59)

Bayern Munich: Kahn; Kuffour (Hashemian 79), Lucio, Linke, Salihamidzic; Sagnol, Frings (Demichelis 86); Schweinsteiger, Ballack, Ze Roberto; Makaay

thank god, at least we won, but bayern would have deserved a draw.

but this attack has to improve, 1 goal in every match is far to less, if we wanna win something in the end.

Surprisingly, only 18000 people turned up to watch the match....?? and about 5000 of them were Bayern fans....
