I wouldn't say we played well, but the defense and midfield were solid, with our only problems being in front of goal.
Buffon: Looked solid throughout, and did well in the sweeper role he had to undertake twice in the match. Good reaction save from Schweinsteiger's shot straight after we scored 6.5
Zebina: His battle on our right flank against Ze Roberto was for me the highlight of the match, which I think Zebina won, despite some (necessary) cynical body checks 6
Cannavaro: Fantastic match from him, very solid. 7
Thuram: Got caught out on two occasions in the first half when Bayern put in long balls, but apart from that he was his usual machine self 6.5
Zambrotta: Did his defensive duties well, but didn't get forward that much except one marauding run in the first half. 6.5
Camoranesi: Played a typical Camoranesi match. Made some decent movements but again, shouldn't try to dribble all the time and needs to learn how to make easy passes instead of trying to make assists from the halfway line. Too easily disposessed every single time 5.5
Emerson: Pretty solid match, great pass for Zlatan from the free kick, but apart from that didn't make himself noticed. Probably a good thing 6.5
Blasi: Tried to dribble a couple of times when he should have released, but did his job well. 6.5
Nedved: Apart from the goal he didn't do that much, but as usual kept fighting throughout the whole match. Good on him for roughing up Kahn a bit too, though if they got into a fight he definitely would've lost

Zlatan: Needs to learn how and when to pass, and how to make runs without getting caught offside all the time. Maybe could have had two goals (an early header and the lob over Kahn that hit the side netting), but he's still learning. Good assist though 6
Del Piero: Looked like a player returning from injury. Had one good chance to score, but other than that lost the ball easily. 5.5
Zalayeta: Was more effective than Del Piero when he got onto the pitch, but didn't look all that potent. Made two or three dangerous movements down the left, and props to him for that fantastic "two-footed kick" move on the end line :LOL: 6

I'm also proud of this defense as well. Our defence performed well against Munich. But I think that it should be 2 - 0 or even 3 - 0 cos we missed a couple of chances. We have the good passes but we cannot finish.
