So you want Nainggolan as Pirlo's replacement? If not, then who do you want?
No one can replace Pirlo in what he does, but we'll definitely need someone to fill that spot in somewhat different way. Yes, Radja I believe is that guy, and strong rumors since the end of August are suggesting that possibility as well.

Ok, then I strongly disagree. Of course nobody (except Verratti, maybe) will be able to replace Pirlo and what he does, but I don't see Nainggolan filling the creative spot. If Pirlo is leaving, which I hope is not the case, then I don't see how Nainggolan should be the solution.

He can only be a solution if we move away from regista system and start adopting a new one, where creativity doesn't come from the back. With Pirlo around Conte introduced that 3rd CB to reinforce the central area, as Pirlo can't cover it adequately. We wouldn't be able to play with wingers even if we by any chance had them for the aforementioned reason.

With no Pirlo we wont play a 3-5-2 therefore no need for a regista and instead a need for wingers

Of course we would be able to play with wingers with Pirlo. We did that in 11/12, and we will do it tomorrow (even if it's a very defensive version of 4-3-3). However, we need the right wingers for the job if we want to use 4-3-3 permanently. However, IF Pirlo leave, I would prefer to see us get a trequartista - or even play with Tevez as a deep lying forward in a 4-2-3-1.

We will need another form of creativity if Pirlo leaves which is obvious. Also Radja shouldnt be a target. We buy 2 wingers and we have 5 cms and we play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 and we are covered

And our defense leaked back then as opponents would have often caught us; remember all those draws before Conte changed system and strengthened defense. With Pirlo we can only play some sort of hybrid like tomorrow, with Marchisio focusing mostly on closing down without too much venturing forward.

And here's another recent example; how did Real score their 1st goal in Madrid? We could've all seen how easily Di Maria run past him.

Well, you might argue that we are strengthened in defense with the 3-5-2 against certain teams, but at the same time we lack the creativity of the 4-3-3. It would be great to have both as alternatives. If we get a right winger able to work hard defensively (like Pepe, but better), then I don't see why 4-3-3 wouldn't work. Sure, we would want to use 3-5-2 against certain opponents, but a 4-3-3 with Pirlo or 4-2-3-1 with a trequartista is what we should be aiming for in the long run.
