Well, i dont know if it works like that, but imo he should be completely fine since he had a shoulder problem and not a leg problem i.e. knee, calf or something like that which would have been far worse. Him having a shoulder problem means that he was able to keep his legs fit and strong throughout his time off the field. This is my amateurish opinion.
