They're very match fit, 23 games into their season.

It'll be a sluggish affair. Hopefully we have what it takes to win.
23 games already?!?

I still remember people saying we could win the Champions League after the win 5-0 against Celtic with guys like Matri, Quagliarella and Peluso that played a big part in that and were important in the team (and a lot of people were saying it), while we clearly couldn't, and we were also lucky in that edition. Results condition everything.

Crush. Kill. Destroy.

No false starts. No pathetic draws. No aimless long balls from the back and 1-2s with Buffon. I want to see good, effective football and us beating them and starting off our campaign with a bang.

2-0 win, it won't be brilliant and the same whiners expecting us to lose right now will still be complaining after we win by only that margin

The key here is to not miss goals like we did last season. The chances will come aplenty and we should be clinical when that happens.

What scares me is that our first 2 games of the season does not show that we have learned from that mistake. We still can't find the back of the net as much as we should. So we'll see.

I dunno, I wouldn't read too much into our finishing right now. Our forwards are all more than capable finishers and with more games - more match sharpness, the finishing will eventually improve. I'm more concerned on what mentality we'll have when we actually play these CL games. Last year we looked defeated before every game, lets hope that changes from tonight onwards.

Im confident. I think our European games will benefit from the more direct/quicker tempo allegri seems to be fond of so far.

The team is more than good enough, our style of play last season was just inhibiting.
