i dont see us winning the CL anytime soon though
What? We're a team in the ascendancy. We're improving every year. We've already started our summer mercato off very well, our revenue is growing by leaps and bounds. We have a very large fan base around the world, we have our own stadium... We're going to be one of those 5-6 teams consistently challenging for a CL title each and every year.

I dont know what to say. I really thought we would do it this time. I am so proud of how we fought back but at the same time that makes the defeat all the more painful.

Pirlo was v disappointing but I am not angry, I just feel sorry for the dude esp when he cried after.

I was there in manchester in the 2003 final and I could barely watch our players get their runners up medal. But this time I watched it because I felt extremely proud.

This will be a good experience and I hope we will be stronger for it.

Generally I am OK but I cannot think of the old guards here who will leave us without the CL. They have given us a fantastic season.

Last but not least it is impossible to remotely admire cunts like Neymar and Suarez. If the latter gets a carerr ending injury I will not feel sorry.
This just needs to be a platform. We need to learn from this and get back asap. I don't want to wait another 10 years. We need to be there abouts every year and I hope we are. We need to win one for Gigi.

We were too cautious. The amount of times there was a fifty fifty ball and we stood off because we were scared they would dribble around us really set the tone. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved but we must learn from it and grow.
We'll come back even stronger.
We're back to the TOP,and we're here to stay.:xfinger:

Forza Juve!!
The least painful final lose for me.

No regrets this time.
Agree.so proud of our game tonight.
what a fight!!

Forza Juve!!
Anyone not proud of this Juve should be rightfully banned.
:agree:
Come on, all this crying... Hold your fucking heads up. We didn't lack determination, we didn't lack the will to win. Maybe some players weren't in their best day but overall we're fucking back. We had every reason to be in that final and we showed why. A little more luck and we could have done it.

Don't make it sound like all the work we've done was in vain. It fucking wasn't. If anything this will make us grow even more. We're back to being one of the biggest clubs around and we're here to stay. Fucking proud of everybody.
This.+REP
We can only be proud.
AMAZING season, amazing job by everyone in the team.
We're back where we belong, being a TOP club in Europe again, and we'll be even better for sure, starting from next season already.
A testa alta ragazzi. We'll be back, better and stronger.

Watched the game in sports club, many Barca were there, all of them complimented me and other Juve fans for our performance,
saying it was hell of a fight, and that we played great.

I am very optimistic for the next season,we have already Khedira,Dybala,Rugani,Berardi and the mercato isn't started yet.
:agree:
;)

Grazie Juve for an amazing season!!
We're strong,and we'll get stronger.

Fino alla fine Forza Juventus!
Forza Juve!!

You guys should realize that being a finalist in Champions League is an honor in itself, because to reach it you have sure as hell had to go through the best clubs in Europe. Sure it stings that you don't win the whole thing, but it means you are among the elite nonetheless. 2-6 record looks bad on paper, sure we should have won a couple more but don't take a loss to be a complete failure because it's not.

we would need to be super lucky to get back to the final again, our old guard is pretty much done, we are kinda rebuilding(almost seamlessly, but still), barca, real, bayern, and the top english 4 are all way richer than us, it's quite easy to see the forecast...

I am very feelingless at this moment, i can't really describe it, i dont feel sad.. Just pure emtiness... I was at a friends wedding were around 40 guys saw the match at a nearby Hookah bar, almost all of them Barca! But many seemed more tense then me... It was a weired day, emotions, caos happiness.. But the only thing i was focus at, was ' we have to take this home! Not the beautiful girl that was staring at me all day long, not what was happening around me! I just wanted this so bad! But we didn't get it...

I wont say anything bad about our boys... Dont even feel dissapointed... The thing is just i really believed! People describe me as a pessimist, but in reallity i keep believing/trying til the last possible possibility.. Sometimes even after.. But today was not our day.. Again... I've stuck with this team through everything! Seen most of my friends and others jump ship! But i way i am raised, we are tought to stay loyal once we have pledged our alliegence... Maybe i shouldn't have had any hopes.. But some kind of way i believed that we deserved this! With everything we've been through as a team! I believed it was our time!! After seen my team losing three times it just didn't make sense that we would loose wonce more! But we did! We lost! But thats just life! It hurts that everytime we come to the final we loose! But we are no chokers! We keep coming here even when no one believed in us, and we will come back again! We take defeat as gentleman! With heads held High and a smile on our face! This reminds us that we make our our destiny, nothing is given or pre-planned. We can moarn today, but tomorrow is a new dawn, and today will be the past, one we most not forget, but accept, make ourselves more capable so we can maximize our chances! We are Juventus! Not some Mickey mouse club! We will be here again with those who stay true to us and want to stay with us! FinoAllaFine!!! Forza Juve! :ultra:

Yeah it's a honor but losing that much finals and being a champion of that competition really hurts.

Fantastic Run. It dosn't stop here. This is just the start. We have seen teams like Bayern go to finals twice in a short period of time and failing twice, We can do it next Year since we'll improve in both quality depth and mentality. #FORZAJUVEEEEE

I agree with the first point but the second with Morata it was clear that was the directive from Allegri, defend only when you have to so you can be dangerous on the break, which he was.
You usually only instruct the target man to stay up top to have somebody go after the long balls/clearances and to hold up the ball.

Allegri saw that things did not work out in the midfield and changed positions of our midfielders ( Marchisio central, vidal left and pogba right) but it had no effect.

Pirlo had a few chances to provide what we needed with freekicks but he failed.

I think we should get the younger version of him(veratti ), if it is possible without sacrificing pogba.

Right now I am unsure if veratti would bring us more than pogba. Pogba seems quite a lot less mature to me. Regardless of what we like as supporters often what we want is not what the team needs to perform well.

In the one hand pogba can keep possession but on the other hand he makes our play slower than needed if we play on the break. Veratti just seems to know better when to hold and when to speed up things.

You make us sound like some mickey mouse club. It's also very easy to see that we're following the Bayern model and it's already starting to pay dividends. Our transfer window looks like a very good one, with good expenditures. Our old guard is just Tevez, Pirlo, Barza, Buffon, Evra.

Tevez will probably be here another year. Pirlo... we already have Marchisio and we look stronger with Marchisio in that position. Barza hardly played this year and we still conceded less goals than anyone in CL. Buffon has another 2-3 years left, lots of time to find a good replacement. Evra, well Asamoah is here already, and I'm pretty certain we can afford a replacement if needed.

Our rebuild is hardly a rebuild. Our financial situation is improving rapidly. And we're bringing in new and exciting young players with huge potential and talent for the future so they can learn from our stars.

Coman, Dybala, Sturaro, Morata, Pogba, Pereyra, Rugani, Berardi, etc. We are set for the future.

EPL clubs ain't got no Beppe ;) As soon as they keep pumping out 45M on Bentekes their wealth is gonna favour other clubs rather than them. Barca will disappear after Messi and Real will have their post-Zidane blues after C.Ronaldo leaves.

I know, it feels like we are Atletico/Dortmund-kind-of finalists but their is more to it. We're building an empire

Luck ?

Luck is getting a penalty for the faul on Pogba from a side eyed ref.

luck is llorente and pereyra burrying that huge chance at the end

luck is scoring one of those many edge-of-the-box shots

It's not like we win the Coppa Italia every year. :D

We waited 20 years for that even.

I guess some people would rather be Arsenal when it comes to the CL.

I don't agree with your assessment of Pogba, I feel you are only basing it off his last three games after his injury which is unfair, especially your comment about maturity, even today he was very fast on the counter and developed three counterattacks which were very dangerous and showed great maturity. He is very fast and very technical and has the advantage of physical strength over Verratti. Verratti has other advantages but I don't think he is automatically a better fit than Paul, who is an amazing player and will only keep improving.

How can you possibly rate that midget to Pogba.I don't understand.Verattis's place can be subbed by many players but Pogba's when he is in form almost nobody.Period.

What I am most afraid of is what happens when they actually get someone good . The biggest problem with english teams right now imho is that they don't know how to spend and don't know how to choose coaches in general . If they start to actually get better in those areas the prospects aren't that great .

My point about pogba and veratti is that you can probably get a good enough replacement for pogba (in the things pogba is good in) while I see nobody playing the regista as good and close to pirlo peak level like veratti.
