There's a doomsday cult in this thread. They moan about Pirlo too, but if Pirlo is injured, then they will act if it is the end of the world.
I wouldnt, I dont mind Pirlo playing even if I prefer Pereyra, but I defenitely would think our chances would improve defensively if Allegri was forced to bench him.

    Barcelona: '33 Juve titles'
    By Football Italia staff

Barcelona have tipped their hat towards Juventus ahead of the Champions League Final by declaring they have 33 Scudetti.

The two giants go head-to-head in Berlin on Saturday evening for the trophy.

The official Barça Twitter account ran an infographic with “everything you need to know about Juventus.”

This included a list of their silverware and 33 editions of the Serie A title.

It has been a matter of contention, as the 2004-05 and 2005-06 Scudetti were stripped by the FIGC in the Calciopoli scandal.

The Juventus Stadium has 33 in very large font on the front entrance and merchandise confidently declares they have won 33 titles.

However, the FIGC, UEFA and FIFA officially recognise only 31 of those.

The 2004-05 edition was left unassigned, while the 2005-06 campaign was handed to Inter.

If we want to win this I think we should play a Bayern like game (the 2nd game which they won 3-2)
If Real worth a goal then Barcelona surely worth a goal... We have to attack them using our mid strength to take control of the game make them confuse as they are not used to play like that and hope Morata and Tevez can do what we hope as Messi Neymar and Suarez surely will!
Aggression is the key IMO - Lots of fouls are needed! We will be carded but this is our only hope if we want to take the CL title with us!

You have to understand Barcelona were not playing at full pace during the second half of that game. The game was practically over when the second goal went in.
I seriously doubt they'll play with that much complacency even if they were 3 0 up during the final.

The team that outplayed Barca this year was Madrid. Crushed them in the 3-1 win, and really should have scored 3-4 goals easy in the 2-1 loss at the Camp Nou. Easily outplayed Barca in both games somehow.

But we're nothing like Madrid, so we can't really borrow their playing style.

@Kieselguhr Kid I have no problems with Juve fans being motivated to beat Barcelona, especially when it is as you say, media paints us as some super-hero side that will easily crush you. But there are a lot of people who dislike Barcelona for arbitrary reasons.

As for not being dominant vs top teams this year, what you describe is mostly accurate. However, using the argument that you beat Real 3-2 on aggregate while we lost to them 4-3 (over 2 games) and thus trying to prove (I assume) we're at equal playing fields is flawed. We lost 3-1 to them in the first half of the season when they were playing extremely well and Barcelona was a minor disaster without an identity under Enrique not to mention that was Suarez's first game back from the ban. We didn't really get going until January, before that no one tipped us to win jack $#@! this season because things were looking so unstable and there was a rift between Messi and Enrique. You won vs them when they missed their most important player besides Ronaldo (Modric) and overall was out of form compared to their first half of the season.

And as for losing to Bayen 3-2. When it was 2-1 in favor of Barcelona, Bayern needed to score 5 goals to go through, we lowered our tempo and intensity quite a lot at that point so it's not like we lost a match where we gave it our all.

But overall I agree with your assessment (although not the examples you used to illustrate your point). I think this is going to be a tight affair and most likely the winning team is not going to win with more than 1 goal margin.

I also don't agree that 90% of our fans think we'll obliterate you guys. I don't socialize with a lot of football fans in real life but on our forum at least most people show proper respect for Juventus and know this is going to be a tough match. I still think we are favorites, but not to the degree media is making it out to be.
Bullshit. I don't care who didn't play for PSG or City, we dominated them all. Both, Verratti and Ibra have played and they've done nothing. Fuck it, we were really good in those games.
That does not mean we will beat Juventus, but it does boost the confidence. Our road to Berlin was the hardest of all clubs in CL and it is well deserved final.

About people hating Barca I guess that happens when the club is on top and especially when it's successful as Barca was/is in last 10 years. But things change and I'm sure we'll fall again sometimes in the future, while Juventus may start shining again (maybe this is the beginning) and start attracting glory hunters, BigNamePlayers and a lot of haters. Would that bother me? No, good for them, best of luck! Why hate them, they aint fucking Madrid. :)

I really do strongly believe now that Barca will underestimate us.Im sure some of their players would've been elated reading this news and probably believe they'll have it easy.
Lets not forget that Chiellini is our most recognizable CB outside of Juve and the
Italian fraternity so im sure that'll be playing on their minds.
