A lot of these Barça fans have just gotten on the bandwagon during Dinho's pomp.
I think they've been an attractive team since the 90s with their style of football, South American signings, the whole 'better than thou' pomp that MQUC brings, even their eyesore colours, but obviously there are millions of people out there who don't really have a team allegiance and just follow the wind. The current team is an obvious choice for neutral or glory hunter alike.

tl;dr not so many people supported them when they were choke artists.

I used to like watching the Ronaldinho team, btw.

I used to be extremely mad at madrid for stealing zidane with record depth, and stealing our Cl when they shouldnt have been allowed in europe that year

So i kinda rooted that Barcelona would take their crown.

I kinda regret i did today

This fucking idiot  , Barca kids talking shit about Juve fans lol,mos of their fans are teengers who started supporting Barca from 2009 :sergio:

Another gem
lol I just checked their forums and the majority of the barca fans commenting join dates were all > 2009. they make comments about how respectful barca fans are, but if you did a simple twitter live search during the athletic game when messi scored all you read were barca fans telling the juve fans to switch off the tv now etc.

I hope vidal stays on messi like a fly to shit, if we stop the messi's needle balls then we will win.

Oh Barça for sure have always been relevant in the European stage pre 2006 for all the things you've mentioned. The massive influx of glory hunters that have started to paint themseelves as "Cules" is only natural given their recent success.

I dont really blame those kids for hitching onto the Barça apple cart to be honest. I started following Juve in the late nineties because we were what was "hot" back then. Deep runs every campaign in the CL during the Lippi years, the best players in the world in our outfit, the best team in the best league, Del Piero at his peak......... I suppose many of us here were attracted to Juve for the very same things that draw kids to clubs like Barça nowadays.

It is an impossible argument to have. You could argue about their respective teams and the players they play with, but truth is it hardly matters. Ronaldo plays with a team focused on making Ronaldo score, but with lesser players. Messi plays in a team that is so good everyone will be able to score. Which is easiest? I sure don't know. What I do know is that their statistics have been similar for ages now.
Their numbers are the same but if u analyse their whole 90 minute performances Messi will be miles ahead.

Ronaldo is a goal scorer a very good goal scorer. He always positions himself in the box to get on the end of things.

Messi starts most of Barca's attacks and finishes them. He will make an assist out of no where quite like Pirlo while also scoring crazy goals that no other player is capable of.

They are completely different players and have completely different styles.

If u were to watch every single goal both players have scored this year it won't even be close who was more impressive.

Ronaldo's gsme is all about goals for himself and nothing else. I personally think he is over rated.

He's not even Madrid's most important player, Modric is a huge lose for them.

He did nothing against Juve for 180 minutes other than goal hang for the first goal.

No way he can be mentioned in the same breathe as Messi.

Only Ronaldo has just about as many assists as Messi does.
