We can probably sneak into top four with our current midfield, but with such strikers it's almost impossible.
Ideally we need a CF, two midfielders and a LB in this particular order imo.

I still think if Max didn't have to rely on Rugani for that game we would have qualified.
and if dybala could stay on the pitch that would have helped too. kean couldn't press de jong at all. and if cancelo wasn't an idiot in amsterdam...

anyway, we had the lead during both legs, and a strong enough juve shouldn't concede 3 times in 2 games. we only had ourselves to blame.

Garbage defense did us in. Benatia forcing his way out in January and Chiellini getting injured meant we played them with Rugani-Bonucci CB pairing in both legs. Least grinta, wimpiest pairing ever. Then you addmin Cancelo who basically entirely ignored the defensive side of the game. We were lucky we didn’t concede even more imo
