it's 4 fucking years we're getting eliminated by inferior teams -.- I'm tired as well.
We can't be eliminated every time after group stages.
I could take it being eliminated by a better team but Lyon? Sevilla? Ajax? and I'm forgetting the other team

wouldn't have changed anything even with old rules.
They scored an away goal with first penalty...
We simply had to win and we failed even that.
Porto.

One sided team. Only Cuadrado can produce something. Our left side is Cagliari level. Our midfield is Udinese level. No matter the logo on the shirt, this team is not good enough for this level of football. We are YEARS behind top teams like City, Bayern and Liverpool

I'm tired of excuses, some how some way we have been fucked in the ass in the first round against weaker opponents for 4 (!) years in a row.

Fuck CL!

PS oh and of course Juve is the first victim of every new rule :sergio:
Those are not excuses. We got eliminated, its a fact and disappointing. It makes you think "How can you not go past against Lyon Porto and Villareal, what the fuck is wrong with our team" BUT I say our team didnt play bad despite the result. I mean there is one positive inside all this negative - It doesnt change the fact the result is negative and should never happen again BUT at least the performance shown there is an improvement in the way we play.
Now we need top 4 and then we need to think how to kick the living hell of teams like Villareal next year.

Yes and no
Cuadrado is indeed our focal point in creating chances
Our left side is indeed crap
Our midfield is indeed way below par
Our only player who can produce things from midfield is Locatelli who shouldnt really be our focal point in midfield even if he is pretty good at it compared to the others we have.
Someone like Pogba/SMS would really change things as Locatelli could be the second guy in midfield (attacking wise) and our whole attack would click better.

We still need a great CB like Bremer since Rugani on his best day is a rotation/backup player at his best.

People need to stop the narrative that we're better than those teams because we're not. We get exposed and it was a 0-3 loss, an emphatic loss.

Yes we had injuries but we only play a certain way which isn't good enough for CL. Unreliable Rugani, non-crossing WB, no playmaker - it would've been 7 or 8 against Bayern. This is where we are right now.

Maybe its a good think to be the underdog.
Dont take me wrong - We wont win the CL next year as well but we can make a serious improvement and even eliminate teams in the knockouts.
It would be difficult should we pair with Liverpool Bayern PSG Real and City but I think we can go through against all the other teams with the right reinforcement, and I`ll even add City although they will surely be the favorite

I watched the game yesterday on an Austrian TV Channel. After the game there was a talk in the studio and an expert said: respect to Villarreal, but MAMA MIA Juventus. How on earth can you play in 2022 football that suits to the 80´s. God bless us that this awfull team is out. Noone wants to watch them and their kind of football.

this words would made me angry some years ago, but now I totally agree with him.
sad but true

We were way better for 70 minutes and then the Rugani foul changed everything out of the blue (although Im still not entirely convinced it was a penalty)
I think we looked better, because Villareal chose to sit deep with no intention to get forward and give away a counter attack as that was likely to be our main method of scoring. They weren’t forced or penned back in any way. They were happy to concede territory making us look like the aggressor.

I also thought the penalty was minimal contact and the referee didn’t give it whilst having a great view of the incident, in line with how he reffed the whole game. But wonderful VAR comes in and initially gives him a still image. In isolation not keeping with how he reffed this game, it is a penalty.

I'm jealous of how teams like Sassuolo and Atalanta play flowing and attacking football and I wonder why Juventus don't change their direction towards this. Kulusevski has been excellent for Spurs but maybe Allegri shackles our creative side. We shouldn't need to spend big on Pogba, we should be able to buy lower level players to slot into a set philosophy and not go on big spends every season.

This result was perfectly in line with the type of football Juventus has been playing for years.

Unimaginative, lifeless, static football. They deserve nothing less the way they play. It's a disgusting style but a befitting result. The issue is not Allegri, Juve have been like this for decades. The issue is somewhere deep in the culture of the club that hasn't moved on from a formula that last worked in the 90s.

Evra is totally right comparing a former Juve midfield with this bunch of mediocre players. Especially is right about Arthur. That guy is lost in space.Vlahovic needs passes and crosses ,he can't do everything by his own.And the main person that utmost pisses me is Alegri. He is acting like some middle ranked company manager .According to him everything was okay until 75 minute!!!! Like he forgot that we suffer one of the biggest defeats at our turf. Personally I don't remember that we lost to anyone 3-0 at our own turf in CL.That never happen. And he is relativizing the things.....Shame,big shame.
