For people who complain about the 3-5-2 formation,
it's not the formation itself, it's how we play it. I think Allegri has improved our movements drastically in that formation compared to Conte. Under Conte I felt we ended up in a 5-3-2 way too often and our attack suffered mightly in Europe because of that.
Yes, Allegri set up a mid where the only one who guards position is the DM (Lemina). Khedira, Pjanic and Dybala roam and move all the time with first touch passes, it's great, fluid, beautiful. That's how it looked like in the first game. Dybala no longer has to play so close to the area, we dont need him to score as much as before because of the improvement on CF position.
Also, a 352 with Sandro-Alves/Cuadrado is just perfect, a highly offensive scheme.
With Evra it becomes unbalanced towards the right, damaging our play. But not enough to ruin it all. Still very aggressive and offensive team, with both CMs offering a lot upfront.

Buuuut yes, it's a bit annoying to see Evra starting as a WBL, since he's likely to stop all development from left side. Hope he does well though. But all offense will come from the right - Alves, Dybala, Khedira.
