It's just so frustrating that we threw this away in 45 minutes. I couldn't recognize our players out there. It's like they got Fucking space jammed. We need to keep this core and strengthen. It's the only way. It's all up in the air now though. Fuck. Seems like a bad dream.

It's game of two half's. First half was ours second was theres. I don't think they were the best by a clear margin though. One worded answer? Then yes. :)

I agree, the margin is not as bad as the final score suggests.

To me our Fitness and physical collapse were more shameful than deflection goals.

I just hope the team doesnt get disbanded like a jenga game once again.

We need continuity and above all, a CLEAR plan in the coming mercato.

We need players who are able to dominate

One of the problems, which comes to bench and the system and the injury of Pjaca is that usually Allegri makes a game changing sub. Remember when he brought Pjaca on for Porto and he scored for example.

Yesterday he didnt really have those game changers. Another issue really.

3 lost finals, and then what?

Just thinking out loud. What kind of change could have been made if we had Pjaca on bench. He made key difference against Porto.
Maybe not much, i mean , the pjaca before injury was having some kind of difficulties adapting to our style.

Maybe if he never got injured, by this time he could have been a really influential player.... But he lacks experience and he is not a leader. This game was lost because no one wanted to share responsability in the 2nd half and i dont know if an inexperienced pjaca woukd have been the answer

Do you expect another Agnelli press conference where he reflects about the lost final and goals and talks some bla bla for about 30 mins?

Don't you think Allegri would still prefer Cuad to him anyway say if he was available today?

This problem goes way behind pjacas injury, and goes into the summer mercato. We prepared wrongly for the season and had to change plans midseason. The lack of bench players is a result of that.

Marotta knows this and hopefully will make amends

I dont know how big, but i still also believe, we talk about tactics and stuff, that maybe some players actually did have too much games played, Mandzu and Khedira and Higuain were the most mins played players. Pjaca would have come on from bench, young and enthusiastic, full of energy. I dont think he would have come to pitch and just bottle it. Not saying he would have come and then scored some winners, but he could have been useful.

Cuadrado was a let down as a sub here.

He can do whatever he pleases. Idc.

What i do care is new signings, offensive signings, and new gameplan, or at least build on what we have and improve it

Difficult to say, but him and Moise would have given us great counter opportunities. I still don't get why Moise wasn't on the bench.

I'd like to see his actions on his "reboot" statement. His statement made it seem that the team will take the steps to evolve pass Serie A.... we will see what happens this summer.

Thing is, atletico played deep and then countered and got found out. We tried the opposite and got found out by second half. It's almost like zidane had to quickly change tactics to control that as he and most of us probably never expected that. Our players came out early, well early for second half. Real came out much later...

The issue was with 3-4-2-1... we should of played 4-2-3-1 and stretched kross and modric and pressuring the wingbacks.

I remember seeing Allegri's pre match conferenza (I've forgotten the English word) he was very stern in his words and manner. Much like he was before all those matches that we managed to fuck up in the league. I wonder if the players were giving off vibes that they were spent or not mentally there.
