so, some say Lichtsteiner will be rotated with Isla, what do you guys think about that? I mean, Licht only played 45 mins in the weekend, so i would expect him to be ready for this match, while Isla might get to start next weekend against Hellas then. I don't see Conte rest players in CL, if they are not extremely tired or in other ways not match fit (like Vucinic might not be). We really need those points, Gala away will be tough, as will the two games against Real, so six points against FCK will be a must, and the easiest way of getting them, is just to go with a 100 % and then substitute when the game is hopefully "home safe" after 50-60 mins. Resting players and having them score an ealy goal could be a very challenging scenario, and won't save us any energy in the long run.

I hope to see some Llorente action as well, hopefully we will score a couple in the first half, so Conte has the freedom to introduce the players, that are still not 100 % gelling in our system, since the only way they will ever be integrated, is if they get a chance to play

So, has anyone watched Copenhagen?

Playing style? System? Good players?
@Gian

FC Copenhagen has just had the worst start of the league EVER! At the moment, they are third last in the league which is unheard of. This club has been dominating for the last 10-15 years, and their worst finish in the Danish league since 01/02 is a third place in 07/08. For that reason, they sacked their previous manager , Ariel Jacobs, 4 games ago and brought back Ståle Solbakken. Ståle is almost a legend in FC København, and he was the one who brought them to the 1/8 final in Champions League in 10/11. Having said that, only two players from that year is still in the line-up for FCK. However, they haven't played well for the three games he has been in charge this season either, but they are making progress, and I'm sure they will be motivated for the game against us. They know they have nothing to lose.

With Ståle, they are playing a quite classical 4-4-2 line-up, but they might decide to play 4-4-1-1 against us to reinforce their midfield. They are very dependent on the tall target man, Adi, who they will try to build their game through with long passes. When they are at their best, their full backs are good at going forward and providing their wings support. They will generally try to make a lot of crosses to hit their target man in the box this way. Previously, FCK's biggest strength in Champions League has been their organization. Unlike FC Nordsjælland who always try to play their own game, FC København is disciplined and will do everything to defend their one point even if it means only getting very few chances on counters and set pieces. Getting an early goal would be crucial for us. Their most famous player from our point of view is of course Mellberg, but their real star is Nicolai Jørgensen. He can play both as wing and offensive midfielder, and his technique, pace and ability to dribble past his opponent makes him dangerous.

That would be perfect for the serie a, but i wouldnt do it in CL.

Simply put, 1 or 2 injuries at 80th minute, and we are potentially screwed.

I'm not to comfortable with this game tbh. Expecting a typical grind that we arent gonna win. Really hope i'm wrong

We got this, the team is in good form and there's shitloads of motivation, first game in Europe, the draw against Inter also I expect some slight changes in the line-up. Bookies give 1.4 for our win, only Barca and Bayern (both playing at home) got lower ones.
