no poll for this?

after having watched the game again, not being drawn away by emotions, but noticing the small details in the game and trying to get a grib on our perfomance, it's clear for me Peluso is the man of the match. In defense he was very good, he distributed the ball well (would like him to challenge his marker a bit more though), and several times, he crossed perfectly, leaving both Pogba x2, Lichtsteiner x2 and Tevez with space in the box (not to mention his pass to Quaqliarella for the goal). Very impressive.

Apart from that, i don't think we played that bad at all. We made some mistakes, especially in the first 15 minutes, where FCK were a lot more aggressive than i expected them to be, but most of our players had plenty of great actions on the field, we just didn't convert our chances...

Lichtsteiner was pretty good too, but he wasted some pretty big chances... Pogba was great in the second half, aswell as Tevez (apart from his misses) and Pirlo, who apart from a few stupid ball-losses, really distributed our game well. A bit dissappointed about our central defense, they were ok, but not as good as i expect them to be...

Chiellini and twice tevez were massive chances

Quag could have scored a second, but it was allready a chance out of nothing, very well tried.

Yeah, the amusing part, is when i finally got to watch the game, and comparing it to the live thread..

The live thread was basically telling us that we were getting shafted like the shaktar game.

However, upon seeing the game myself, i saw a massively motivated kopenhagen that started with pressing while we were a bit complacent, but nothing serious really. Then they got a very lucky goal, and that was about it.

We changed up and played a rather good game against an european opponent digging in at home, created the chances by then dozen, gave away nearly nothing, and just had plain bad luck with finishing

Exactly, we were not outstanding, but by no means bad either. We just fucked it up on a few occasions, and they really took their chances, while we were not clinical enough.. But most of our players had a pretty good game. I mean, if it was 0-0 until 55th minute, because they parked the bus, nobody would have protested when we eventually would go up 1-0... All this whine and doomsday prophecy because we missed our chances... All of a sudden, Tevez sucks, our midfield looks tired, our defenders always give away goals and cannot distribute the play, and the 3-5-2 is just a disaster that no team in modern football should play?
Where the fuck was all those guys after we trashed Lazio twice? I bet most of them praised same players, same coach and the same style of play that everyone now accuses of being cack

Trying the 4-3-3 against weaker sides isn't going to kill us - we've never looked more dangerous and in control than when we played well in a 4-3-3.

Tevez, is solving the problem of the decaying pirlo, wich has been a major issue since the start of 2013. Llorente should solve the clinicality problem imo @Red @ALC
I don't think Tevez is doing much more just now in that position that Vucinic did at times last season.

What will make a difference is if Tevez can play more consistently than Vucinic and do even better once he is fully settled in.

Llorente might improve things, but I don't view him as a fantastically clinical finisher.

He's decent, though, and he undoubtedly has more of a goal-scorer's instinct than Vucinic when it comes to positioning and movement in the box.
